Just watch what happens after this fight. I will be bumping a lot of posts. All the sad idiots on this forum who mocked Hughie - don’t even dare jump on the bandwagon, you’re not welcome.

As for predictions there’s no need. I have a wish though. My wish is that post fight, Peter Fury gets on the mic and calls out that cocksucker Eddie Hearn again and send a chilling warning to that bodybuilding fraud from Watford. Hughie’s coming for his ass.

“And to Eddie Hearn... cockroach, yeah. Because that’s what you are. I’m coming for you next. You and your big, stiff fighter”.

I'd actually like to see Hughie vs Joshua, not as much as Joshua vs Tyson Fury but it's still a fight I find intriguing. I've always said Joshua struggles with a mover and Hughie is definitely that.

Hughie might not have what it takes to beat Joshua but he might very well surprise people and worst case scenario he makes Joshua look bad even in losing. I don't think Hughie is an easy fight for Joshua at all, people shouldn't look too much into the Parker performance, that was Hughie folding under the pressure, he'll have learned from that by the time he faces Joshua. People forget how young Hughie is he was only 23 when he fought Parker, he was a baby in regards to being a heavyweight boxer, very green.

Big Cat lays down the smack on Pulev.

Plays with him like a ball of string.

Home country advantage won't matter b/c Big Cat is bringing his own judges.

It’s a fantastic fight, I agree. It’s a shame Hughie has been typecast as a “runner”. I’ve said repeatedly to the critics, give him a chance to redeem himself. As you say, he’s a young fighter and both he and Peter acknowledged that they can’t be so risk adverse in these big fights again.

Saturday is his chance to redeem himself. If he delivers another negative performance then by all means lay into him.

I think Hughie would get Joshua fits, he’d never get a voluntary so he needs this mandatory slot. Must win on Saturday, no excuses.

Yeah I can't see Hughie ever getting a voluntary, combination of not being a big draw and a horrible style match up. But it's better he gets a mandatory shot anyway that way he gets a decent split of the purse. Joshua isn't one to delay mandatories either he's fought 2 already in Takam and Povetkin so we know Hughie would get his mandatory shot.

Let's hope Fury performs and gets the win, nobody wants to see Joshua/Pulev, Pulev has only gotten older he's no threat to Joshua because of his style, Fury poses a much trickier conundrum with his movement.

Pulev gets this on points. I am really really surprised that Hughie actually accepted that fight. It is a big ****ing deal in Sofia, there is no way the scorecards are getting Pulev on the losing side. Hughie has to overachieve his last performances or score a KO.

Pulev will scrape by him via boring decision. Unless he's totally shot his jab ought to win it for him.

For some reason I'm looking forward to this fight. Expecting nothing but a snoozer of course, but I find the matchup intriguing somehow.

He doesn't have the profile, money or alternate routes to a big fight behind him that Miller or Whyte did. They shied away from going to Sofia for exactly the reasons you outline above. He's decided to take the risk and go for it. If he does manage an upset he'll deserve to leapfrog them and get that title shot enforced by the IBF.

Yeah, I guess team Fury changed their strategy because they used to pull out of fights all the time around two years ago...

I believe the line from them is that Hughie was ill with his skin issue. That's now resolved apparently.

I can't see this as being an exciting fight whoever wins, tbh.

Pulev by robbery after getting thoroughly outboxed, outworked and maybe even hurt in a one-sided bout.

UD, MD, SD, take your pick, Pulev goes home with the win.
