I don't think it would ever happen , purely because of the money to be made in individual fights, but If it was take place, who would enter , the venues , what platform would show it etc.

    Thoughts ?

definitely possible, just not with AJ, Wilder or Fury in it. Can see a tournament consisting of the likes of Breazeale, Parker, Ortiz, Povetkin etc

As you say it would never happen between any of the top 20 HWs in title contention.

It would only work as a challenger tournament for ambitious HWs, outside the top 20 looking to break into elite level.

So if I was organising it then I would be looking for HWs from 21st to 150th in the world with potential who have not already stepped up to take part.
Of course you would need to exclude fighters there who have already stepped up and lost, as they are no longer “challengers”. The odd loss would not preclude certain fighters from taking part.

Naw mate wouldn’t work with those guys either. They are top 20 and have better options. Could not see any of them taking part as they all have title shot options in 1-3 fights.

You would need to exclude that level and go from world number 21 to 150.

i think it would work for them, they'd likely earn more than they would, their route to a title isn't as easy, and there are a few heavy's are on the way out as well and may want a shot at something like that

Yeah I could see that. I would think Usyk would enter , be the chance to win the WBSS at 2 weigh divisions and it gives him chance to get used to the division before going in with the top guys.

Usyk should take tune up fights at heavyweight before fighting the top 2. To get used to the weight difference.

Hell Would love to see them duke it out in a tournament. I would probably prefer Plechko to Dinu. Otherwise your mentioned names would be a feast for every true fight fan Sorrowly, most casual fans have never heard of Mijas or Fa.

Don King did something similar to a WBSS in the heavyweights back in 1986/87 that seen Iron Mike become undisputed. Seem to remember bonecrusher v Witherspoon for the right to fight the winner of Tyson v berberick. Prior to that Witherspoon had beat tony tnt tubbs and berberic beat pinklon thomas. Would be great to see the top 8 heavyweights pair off to find an undisputed again

I think it would look something like this. which would be good.

    Alexander Povetkin
    Luis Ortiz
    Joseph Parker
    Kubrat Pulev
    Andy Ruiz Jr
    Filip Hrgovic
    Bryant Jennings
    Sergey Kuzmin
