Wladimir cracks Bowe twice as hard as Golota did and stops him before the 8th. Wlad in his prime was WAY more proven than Riddick “just throw my belt in the trash” Bowe. Better jab, faster hands and feet, smarter and God knows he hit harder.

Bowe’s best win is what? A 206lb Holyfield?

So many to choose from. Look them up.

He also did throw any of his belts in the trash when presented with a challenge ;)

Bowe is one of the most overrated HW's ever, he got beaten the **** up twice by Golota. His defence was terrible, he was way too hittable, Wlad would have a field day with him. Wlad was way faster than him, with a much better jab, it would be a definite Wlad victory probably by mid to late KO in typical highlight reel Dr Steelhammer fashion :)

If 206lb 6’2” Holyfield who was suffering a heart attack could almost KO Bowe... This guy definitely could.

Bowe was more naturally gifted than Wlad but he didn't have 1/10th of the discipline and dedication

On his BEST night bowe could catch him, but 99/100 im taking the true professional

Wlad UD as bowe is tough

Both of them loved fighting smaller fighters and struggled when they fought someone their own size.

Wlad going for the clinch against Bowe could be very dangerous due to Bowe’s superb inside skills.

Sure Wlad was the harder puncher but Bowe actually threw combinations other than the 1-2 or 1-1-2 with an occasional hook.

In terms of handspeed there is no way Klitschko is much faster.

Bowe had a much better chin that’s for sure.

    I’d say it is a 50 50 fight.

I think Bowe was overrated but I think he has a little too much for Wlad. At least the version in the first Holyfield fight. Any other version loses a decision.

I fully expect Wlad to out box him, even probably drop Bowe who was awfully easy to hit. He'd jab, grab, move and out box the slow footed Bowe for most of the fight. Wlad would likely have chances to KO Bowe but much like in the Joshua fight his cautious nature sees him hold off from going full out and that allows Bowe to recover and dig deep to come back again.

But Bowe for all his lack of self discipline had a ton of heart, Golota near killed him in the ring and he still wouldn't lay down or quit and was able to find enough success in spurts to break Golota's jaw. I think Bowe at some point gets to Wlad. His inside game, his size and power would see him break the clinch and get Wlad out of there at some point.

    Wlad wins the rematch though.

h2h bowe for sure. Puttign Wlad in the ring with an elite is asking for trouble. Waldo did the right thing steering clear of them all his career.

Wlad has broader body of work and legacy. Riddick let himself go, dont know if it was mind, drugs or women or sheer physical damage.

Bowe clearly had issues which manifested itself in lack of discipline in the ring. But he also joined the marines and then quit and then he kidnapped his wife. He had some demons and when they manifest themselves it's hard for anyone to stay focused.

Tyson was another fighter who had demons and saw his prime cut short. Both from same area of New York both probably had a tough up bringing and so both lacked the mental stability for a long sustained career likely due to a traumatic upbringing.

we gotta give credit to the Klitschkos for their disclipine, despite their obvious limitations and non-elite abilities - they had excellent mindsets for long careers, despite poor/modest upbringing.

Course, same time, theres plenty of things to give them stick for too.
