Well that’s all he has done to this point. If he actually steps into the ring with Spence he gets all the credit. That’s how this thing works, it’s pretty straight forward isn’t it?

Mikey Garcia is a talented boxer, but he has little chance of winning. Errol Spence, who is also very talented, is a much bigger man.

Loma vs. Garcia would be a great matchup, as would Spence vs Crawford. These are the fights boxing fans want to see.

at this point, im taking whatever i can get between these 4, and if pac blows broner away, its gonna be a huge year.

 

I was looking forward to Spence/Crawford but this will do.

 

Salido, Juanma, Martinez, Broner, Easter, Lipinets, Zlat, Barros, Burgos were all top 10 guys across four divisions. Also beat green or old versions of Castellanos, Rojas, and Pastrana. That is a pretty great list of top dozen victories. So I ask, do you know who Mikey Garcia is? It shouldn't take me to list them all out.

 

And he does. This would be the first time he actually fought someone he called out.
But credit to Mikey if it gets maid. Takes balls to take such a leap.

 

His pre-retirement run was solid. There were even talks of Gamboa before Mikey started his war with Top Rank.
Bt after that it has been bit of a let down. He did unify two belts at LW, which is a nice touch. But he also sidestepped Linares and Loma.
Broner was a money grab and Lipinets is a nobody. So what if Lip held a belt. The man never beat any top 10 guys at 140. And 140 even now is still weak.

 

maybe, but out those fighters hes called out, it looks like one is due to be signed, one is planned for next year, and one is not up for offer. i dont know what your expected timeline was for these fights to happen, but if its starting now, its what i expected from a business perspective.

 

I respect those opinions. Folks acting clueless that he is 10-0 against former titlists and hasn't beaten a load of top 10 ranked guys. They try to diss on it for whatever reasons, it's becoming the hip thing on the forum recently. Maybe because it all adds up to total greater than some of the other elites they like more. His quantity of resume is great and specifically deep which is what my post was responding to (someone who has repeatedly claimed it is not deep).
