Women should be soft & juicy all over. Guys into thin/muscular/"fit" chicks need to just give up the ghost and embrace their gayness already.

 

I think he misannounced Derevyanchenko's record as 10-0 (10)...and introduced him as "from Brooklyn" with the quickly added forethought "er, by way of Ukraine"...

Anyway he weighs in at 159.4lbs

Guy has like a sculpted twelve-pack. Lots of swagger, winking at people in the audience while flexing on the scale.

Holy crap, Derevyanchenko's eyes are level with Jacob's Adam's apple, even with their heads held level (which Derevyanchenko can't for most of the weigh-in because he needs to tilt his head back almost with his face parallel to the ceiling just to meet Jacobs' gaze). CRAZY height difference here...and it isn't like Jacobs has tiny T-rex arms, either (nor does Derevyanchenko have a particularly broad wingspan for his height)

Technician backers should be worried. A lot of the pre-fight analysis centered on him controlling things with his jab, but unless the opponent is devoid of skill (which Jacobs isn't) you aren't controlling a guy with 6" of reach, at least 2½″ of height (listed on BoxRec - to my naked eye could easily believe well over three if not verging on 4" disparity) with an educated jab of his own and quick feet/good intuitive movement in the ring ...at least not very easily.

 

I feel like I've heard of David Oliver Joyce before, was he supposed to be some hotshot Irish amateur? His pro record so far isn't very inspiring and his opponent tomorrow on the undercard hardly seems a step up.
