On the assumption that either win it then I think Taylor and Prograis will be knocking on the door.

Taylor would have a resume of Postol, Prograis, Vasqiez, Martin, Baranchyk/Yigit.

Prograis would have Indongo, Taylor, Flanagan, Relikh, Velassco, Diaz Jnr.

They might not be top ten but won't be far off.

Obviously anyone beast Inoue in that one and they will go in.

Anthony Sims Jr. will be in the top 10 in 2 years, and pushing for the first spot by the time he's 26.

I really don't see what so many are talking about with all these exceptional skills Spence supposedly has.

skill is not the determining factor in this equation, its a factor, but not THE factor. its your capacity to walk out the winner vs anyone before you at the weight bracket you are being pitted in. most feel spence would be very successful at 154, which is a testament to his dominance at 147, whether its earned through skill or sheer size and strength.

I don't agree, he was legit losing against his toughest opponent until he broke Brook's other eye, and has not fought anyway else that had a chance in hell of beating him. I wouldn't pick him over Hurd or Diet Charlo.

The p4p list from the ring now.

    Loma
    Crawford
    Canelo
    Ggg
    Usyk
    Inoue
    Mikey
    sor rungvisai
    spence
    nietes

So to get into the top 4, you need to be better than any of the top 4 guys today. There is no one now that can threaten loma crawfor canelo, imho. It's ggg the most suitable candidate to be replaced, because of his age. So you need someone that will, at least, be better than gg in the next few years.

Usyk and inoue are my most realistic choices. I love rungvinsai's boxing too, but I dont think he'll get it. I dont like spence very much. gervonta? nah, he has no brain. Prograis? rofl no. thurman has the potentail but I would say he's not willing to....

I'd stick to usyk or inoue.

PS: and usyk has nothing left to do in his weight, so he'll probably go to HW, were he will stand little chance vs freak monsters. Only Inoue left. So, I'll say if gg retires or gets too old soon, then usyk, if gg lasts longer, then inoue.

my take on the brook fight is that it went like spences game plan intended it to go. spence was going to push the offense at a pace that brook could not keep for 12, losing rds was not as important as making brook work outside his comfort zone. brook was going to tie up when spence came inside to avoid spences dreaded body attack, just like he did with porter, and spence was going to push him off and make him pay for tying up... which is what transpired.
go back and look at how many different ways brook tried to slow down spences offense, and all of them failed.

I think callum plant has huge potential for a p4p spot within2 years,
Also always curious way Leo Santa Cruz never gets a mention, I think he's up there.
