its an interview in ukrain where he is asked about fighting mikey, he replies that he is not ready for mikey until he is sure his shoulder is healed. i did not save the interview, its from right after linares fight and shouldnt be hard to find.
im not implying loma is ducking mikey, he is doing the right thing, but you also have to consider the position that puts mikey in, and hold your argument to that standard. the fact is, both guys want the fight, the promotional side is being worked out, and its not happening next because of an injury. how many arguments do you see here that line up with that?

If Loma was injured, what exactly was the point of your post? No one in their right mind expects a fighter to enter the ring already injured, especially with a shoulder injury.

This. I also think Mikey has a good chance of beating Spence. Spence is still very green and his durability and stamina are very questionable. Also, he doesn't have a very high workrate.

Crawford would be a much more dangerous fight for Mikey because he has a high workrate and doesn't gas.

 

my point was that the running theme with the loudest loma fans is that mikey is afraid of loma and everything that happens is a result of that. hell, i just got accused of being afraid for mikey because mikey is afraid, you believe that crap?
