What are you basing this on?

Spence was taken deep by a badly drained and damaged Brook. His next best wins are a shot Algieri, ancient no namer Bundu, and shot PEDerson.

Cotto beat a roided to the gills EPO Mosley.

Crazy number of fan boi idiots on this thread who DKSAB...

Pacquiao and Cotto were proven elites. Spence and Mikey have fought poor opposition, but get all of their P4P praise based on the eye test, and no actual victories against an elite operator.

Pacquiaos victory over Cotto is more impressive than a possible Garcia victory over Spence. Due to Pacquiao coming up from 112 as champion.

Don't worry about Bandeedo. He's either related to Mikey or one of the unemployed yes men who hang around at RGBA and in the background of Elie Sechback videos.

Should we show them threads from 2008 when people were getting banned for saying Pac will KO cotto, hatton and DLH. I swear to God. Hatton almost died. He went flat on his back and almost died trying to get oxygen.

No. Bandeedo is one of those old guys who incapable of logical thinking. He probably thinks the world is flat.

    Plus he hates Pacquiao.

Spot on theres a clear difference in proven talent (cotto) and potential talent (spence) i do like spence as a fighter (cant stand the man tho) but completely unproven so far.

    Cotto's a HOF'er.

Spence, well, Spence beat Kell Brook.

    Advantage: Pacquiao

But I'm the type that lives by resume, not eye test, so if someone wanted to say different I wouldn't take huge issue with it, I don't think. We'd have to let 9 years go by after Mikey/Spence to compare it that way.

It all depends on what kind of fight it is. Is it a robbery? Is it a squeaker that could have gone either way or a blow out? Does Spence hobble into the ring injured and lethargic, or does he give a career best performance? What does Spence go on to do afterwards?

You're right that's the nature of the sport. But Garcia would have to win convincingly and Spence would need to do many good things after for it to compare.

A Lineal Flyweight champ knocking out a hall of fame Jr. Welterweight (Cotto started at 140) is unreal.
