Could Jermall Charlo stop or ko Golovkin

Considering GGG is 36 years old, slowing down and on the slide, like just about every fighter in history at that age, it is very possible a young hungry lion like Charlo could be the first to put away GGG.

However everyone including Charlo should be careful what they wish for, GGG is coming in on the back of two quality fights against a fellow p4p star in which an overall majority of people believed he won both fights.

Past his best and on the wrong end of his 30s, Golovkin is still one of the most feared and dangerous men in the game.

 

no. i actually expected a bigger decline in ggg due to the pace that it has appeared to be happening. but his reflexes were still sharp, timing still world class, and im assuming he still has the punching power. ko 7 ggg.

Ego has a bad memory I guess. Canelo almost KO'd Trout and although he won a controversial decision...Trout got robbed worse against Charlo IMO and Charlo didn't drop Trout if I recall. Charlo got outworked the second half of that fight.

Golovkin stops him IMO.

 

I think so yes,I’ve said for a while now that Golovkin would take a few losses and go out on his shield against a young lion,just so happens he shouldn’t have a draw against his name.

 

I may be wrong but i dont ever remember Golovkin being dropped let along stopped. I also saw Canelo hit him with a couple of hail marys and he didnt even wobble. So based on that id have to say no, i also dont think Charlo is a massive puncher. But then to get in to EGO,s head i suppose Charlo is American so that must make him a bit better and a bit stronger, EGO seems to think Americans are just the best based on their birth certificate.

Mosley springs straight to mind albeit a very old version.

The difference between Canelo and Charlo is Canelo even if you think he's only fought non punchers has a far, far deeper resume than Charlo.

Canelo love him or hate him has faced the much better fighters and his resume is testament to that.

 

Everything is possible in boxing, this seems pretty unlikely though.
I think there's as much of a chance that Khan KO's Charlo as Charlo KO-ing Golovkin.
