I think a lot of people are selling SD short. Watch how he places his punches. He has earned the title The Technician. Jacobs was not impressive in his fight against Sulecki. This fight could surprise.

 

That is really surprising. I guess not many know who SD is.

 

Interesting. You are one of the most knowledgeable guys on this forum and you feel this strongly about SD winning. I think it is a toss-up fight since SD may have to stop Jacobs to get the decision unless it is just too lopsided. However, if it does turn out to be too lopsided either way, I doubt it goes the distance.

 

I tend to ignore the extremes and revisionist comments. This should be a great fight. As I said, I think Jacobs is vulnerable but we don't really know if SD is capable of dealing with this level of competition, which is why it is so interesting going in.

 

Could be. My sense is Jacobs, based on his Sulecki performance, has dropped off. Remnants of cancer? Maybe. The body only has so much resilience and even though one recovers from cancer, it takes its toll. Therefore, Jacobs could have a more rapid drop off in overall performance. But I don't want to sell SD short. He may have more than we think he does.
