Ive been watching some LDBC videos on youtube for a laugh, i love those guys. But everything they say good about Wilder and bad about Joshua all ends coming back to Joshua running away from the 50 million after he said what he said. Ive always said i bet Joshua and more than that Hearn wished Joshua had never said that little sentence in the middle of an interview because it has seriously come back to bite them on the bum in the form of Wilder fanboys latching on to it.

The difference between Wilders 50 million and Joshuas 15 million offer is that Joshuas came with a complete contract stating every little detail and it was signed. Wilders offer came with nothing, nothing written down and Finkel did not want to meet to discuss any of those details.

Offering Joshua 50 million is a hell of a start when trying to make that fight but its only a start. To Finkel, Wilder and the LDBC it was everything. They calling Joshua a ducker for not taking it but when Joshua says "Lets Roll" and Hearn says "lets discuss it" and Finkel says "I dont want to meet or talk about it" how on earth is there going to be any progress?

Thats my point really. Joshua and Hearn offered a signed contract stating all requirements, demands, money, venue, date. Finkel offered nothing other than saying 50 million. Its not nearly enough to progress without further discussions because to that point they had been given 1 detail when a contract prob covers about 20-30 different important little details.

Donkey deserves a 50-50 split about as much as Theresa May deserves to win Miss World.

So are we to assume everything Hearn Senior said in that lakeside fishing video recently when he said they had a two-year plan for Wilder at a minimum was a sign of early onset dementia then?

You know the one, where he literally spelt out that they had no intention of fighting Wilder anytime soon as they were/are still building brand AJ.

I thought Barry Hearn made a point of saying that this was how he would do it in order to maximise revenue, but that he's not in charge and that Joshua had other ideas?

Ortiz has called Whyte's bluff twice. Wilder has called Joshua's bluff. We know how Matchroom fighters roll.

Yes, I'm definitely getting the feeling that Joshua is ignoring the advice of someone who made a fortune through promotion and his heir apparent (Eddie). Eschewing making millions through continued hyped low-risk high reward bouts and product endorsements which he risks losing if he gets dropped hard one time too many.

I have no doubt whatsoever that AJ's contract allows him complete flexibility over what he chooses to do and when, and gives him free reign to completely disregard long-term strategy set cos' he just bloody well likes fighting so much, just as his fame is reaching its nadir.

    Errr, hang on.

LOL, thats not what he said, like ive said before you Wilder fans twist other peoples words to suit a narrative.

What Barry Hearn said was that his advice would be to let that fight build as he doesnt see anybody else beating them in the mean time but thats just his advice but its not up to him its up to the fighter and the fighter wants it now. There is no 2 year plan your talking nonsense, like i said, twisting other peoples words to turn the narrative.

He also says they have been trying to discuss a potential fight with Wilder but Finkel wont respond to them in any form and thats the signs of somebody who doesnt want the fight.

    Friendly reminder that your profile states this;

"Go on give DAZN a whirl, you might like it".

I know full well what he said, I was paying eagle-like attention to it. It was remarkable as it was a very candid admission that Team AJ have no plans whatsoever to fight Wilder anytime soon. This flies directly in the face of the $50 million gate claims. Wilder then signed to fight Fury without any issues whatsoever. Occam's razor would suggest that someone ducked, and that person happens to be from London, not Alabama.

That's a different question. My point was that when you said:

that he actually didn't say that. At least as I recall the interview?

Strawman argument. I could post the timestamped clip of Hearn Sr. laying this out and you'd still deny it or claim his syntax suggested otherwise.

It would be a strawman argument if I were trying to refute something which you didn't claim. This is not the case here. I'm saying that this claim made by you:

    is false.

Of course if you can provide a timestamped clip of Hearn saying this you will have proven me wrong. I won't be able to hide behind syntax if he literally spells it out as you've claimed.
