Very poor and finally exposed. Clueless against a solid but ageing man. His opponent had fought at higher levels and was in his own back yard. Fury always looked lightweight against the big guys and astonishing how many on here thought he would win/ easily. Let's hope the hype over him is over. He was clueless.
Just posted this in tonight's boxing thread: I like Hughie but that was absolutely dogs.h.i.t. He completely abandoned his footwork and relied on one big right hand all night. A right hand he was telegraphing and one that's not exactly renowned in boxing as dynamite. I just don't understand it. I know the cut affected him but he abandoned all his boxing ability tonight. It was a really, really bad performance! The corner handle the cut a lot better than Hughie did. Not making excuses because Hughie was inferior in every department tonight. But was he overtrained? I can't believe how flat, inaccurate and tired he looked from early on. Pulev looked good. Definitely a top ten guy and one of the better ones. Hughie needs to drop a level and cement an effective style. He can't seem to find the balance between being too defensive and too open. He was caught all night tonight.

Yep I had him to win. He fooled me, he looked great against sexton and I thought maybe he had turned a corner after the Parker loss. But just shows how levels are deceiving . He looked shocking tonight, hands low, pawing left jab and a looping right hand thats all the variety he had and the only idea he could counjur up was to leak back and try to throw a counter right. He looked as bad as deontay wilder technically, intact he looked much h worse which saying something. Look when he had pulev hurt cam swinging in with hands low like an pub fighter. That's two British guys found out recently after Martin bakole was exposed not long back.
Very surprised to see Peter not ripping a new hole up his bum during the fight cos it just seemed that after the cut both dad and son were beaten and had no plan B
A year ago I would have been disappointed but now pleasantly pleased since now knowing that Peter Fury has indulged in dog fighting.
Bit harsh mate he had his moments in that fight , Pulev never showered himself in glory either he should have been much better if as you say Fury was so poor.
Hughie was terrible, no power, poor punching technic, no idea how to set up an effective attack etc, etc. There’s simply no place for him above Euro level
Your opinion but Hughie is still a very good heavy weight , did,nt show it tonight but he is a top ten british heavy and a fringe world contender
