Thing is, no one could've imagined that Fury would be that bad, that clueless..He fooled me, I thought he was gonna beat old Pulev
He fooled me too, thought he'd show up and fight his usual fight, move, make Pulev miss and pick him off using his height, reach and angles. What we got was a Hughie who stood right in front of Pulev, forgot to jab and only seemed to have a right hand to throw, he might as well of had his left hand tied behind his back he used it so little. Credit to Pulev though he came in, in fantastic shape unlike Fury and he simply stuck to how he normally fights and executed his game plan unlike Fury. Take the centre, jab, jab, jab, grab when attacked, push em back and corner them then let the right hand go, then repeat for 12 rounds.
I seen him pulling faces regular Fury to the ref for nothing. He wanted out a few times imo, his heart wasn't in it
You're ignoring the fact he was severely concussed from a headbutt and despite not really knowing where he was still nearly pulled it out of the bag in the final round. I think Whyte was incredibly fortuitous there.
By the same theory, Parker > Wlad, Povetkin because he managed to go the distance with Joshua fairly comfortably while they got KO'ed!
Pulev pulled Fury out of his gameplan. Hughie tried the lateral work, got caught and cut open. Bad style matchup trying to jab, with a superior jabber. Pulev has those elbows so high, but he angles his arms, so he's in a position to jab from all directions. Not so reliant on one hand, and Hughie couldn't set himself up, because he was cornered and pressured every moment of the fight. Kubret has a long list of wins over Chisora, Thompson, Dimitrenko, Chisora, Ustinov, Johnson, and Peter, now. Which is a solid list over former B level world title contenders. He was beaten on the inside by Wlad from short hooks, but Klitschsko didn't attempt to break him down on the outside with the jab. He's a level above Parker no doubt, Joseph doesn't apply enough pressure.
Prime Parker > Shot 41 year old Wladimir Klitschko and 39 year old Povetkin. And Wlad wasn't really KO'ed.
explain how it is confirmed! Many fights have mixed results for example... Wladimir lost to Purity who lost to Byrd who Wladimir beat twice So please explain how you have confirmed this
I didn't say anything about a right hand ..I said left hook with any competent trainer would have prepared him doing was side stepping to his left not standing there when Pulev moved forward to land it against a high guard fast snapping jabber. MAYBE you missed round 8 anyway??? Why not rewatch that round ? Lol
I said he had to go down the middle, you said he had to throw that right hand as he was because of Pulevs high guard ?? No stress though, all good lol
I scored Parker/Joshua a draw (and no, I don't feel bad or crazy about it). And it seemed to me that at least half and probably more of serious posters scored Parker/Whyte to Parker. Soooooo... don't understand the hate being thrown to Parker of late. Speaking of, Parker vs. Pulev seems like a very good one. Would hope to see that if neither get a Joshua/Wilder/Whyte/Miller sort of fight in the next 6 months.
