It's a weird feeling seeing right before our eyes that fishnets gets the judges to give canelo decisions. I would do anything to hear audio from whatever meetings he has with them and what he offers them to do it. Amazing that boxing can still be corrupted in this day in age.
I think it’s now worse than ever and nobody seems to care,Golovkin could of won 12 rounds and only would of drawn,you’d think there would be a process of a back up set of judges for bad decisions
You're right. It happened in the floyd fight. Canelo won 2 rounds at MOST. You could argue he lost every round. But yet he still got a draw from CJ Ross. Unreal.
Yes and that’s one of my fav all time fights as Floyd didn’t fight defensively at all,he was there all the time and Canelo still couldn’t touch him,Floyd looked like the harder puncher of the two as well.Problem is with Canelo is that for some reason everyone looks for reasons to give him rounds,we all do it and I’ve no idea why but you’re right some would argue Floyd won all 12 rounds and was still robbed of a unanimous decision.
They were offered Mexico too for the rematch and they turned it down, the Mexican promoter and his Mexican star who like to fight on Mexico day or what ever it is and do it for the Mexican fans didnt want to fight in Mexico. Even GGG liked the idea of Mexico. In short, you know when Oscar and Canelo feel theres a tough fight ahead they just run straight back to Vegas and get the wierd needle shaped beefburgers out and start filling up those little brown envelopes. I saw a headline in Dailymail this morning “Genady Golovkin beat Canelo Alvarez both times and remains Pound for Pound king”, I almost spat my tea out thinking it can’t be right, opened the article and, sure enough, it says “in my opinion” there but still, point is - most fans of the sport of Boxing know what’s up and who won, so ginger can have the trinkets but history will have its say on where his place really is.
