AH ok use as I thought then?after his loss to Parker I called him the Heavyweights version of Broner, just like Broner himself he will now I’m afraid always talk himself up,get a few onside and do nothing on the night.
And just like Broner you can’t question his heart or his opponents but in Broner case he can’t stop himself fighting in a way that won’t get him Ktfo, not sure that s*** is stoppable.

Seriously though you’d think pride alone would stop him doing this or maybe he should just too nice a guy for it.

Doesn't take much ability to lose.

24 is definitely on the young side, but not by all that much. Hughie has to make some fundamental changes and soon if he's going to accomplish anything.

His biggest wins are... Sexton, Rudenko, and Kassi I guess?

That's not that impressive. I'd say Nathan Gorman is pretty close to that level with his domination of Sean Turner.

He took his shot at Parker, who was a weak champ. No weak champs left. He’s now Kevin Johnson, UK edition.

Can people stop bringing up his age. Just because he is 24 it doesn’t mean he will improve. 99% of athletes in all sports don’t magically improve multiple levels from 24 to 28 or 24 to 30.

Hughie clearly lost to Parker who is barely in the top 20 and Pulev who is solid top 20.

So Hughie is about top 30-50. That’s where he is and can people stop thinking he can improve massively just because he is relatively young at HW.

Duck lol, get real. Why fight away from home for a chance to fight Joshua for half a Million less than H.Fury was offered, a chance Miller already has in the bag, when he can fight twice in 6 weeks at home including for the WBA world heavyweight title? Pulev has softer hands than Fury, Miller punishes and stops Pulev.

22 fights isn't even getting your feet wet .

you are being fooled by social media idiots who don't know boxing....

it takes a special fighter to actually succeed before that...

Lennox Lewis lost his 25th/26 th fight and didn't really get a handle on things until in his 30 something fight..

I use him a s a delusional person himself bc he continuously questions Joshua who has already 3 more defenses then Lewis did.

Hughie wont reach his peak until fight 32. He's a non power puncher .he's going to have to work harder in this era for several reasons!

One is he's using an Ali style and I told you guys that's not going to work nearly as good with 6'4 plus HW's of today.

I.know the Furys thought Hugh ie would just lean back and use quirky movements and speed to win but it's not going to cut it....they really needed to work on direct punching and accuracy from day one.....they didn't and labeled everyone robotic....he just lost to one tonight.

A tough robot a top Jab and hard shots flustered Hughie.

He's too good for British, but not yet good enough for World.

So.....At just 24 as a HW, what do you do?

Fight guys like Sexton where you win, but learn nothing?

Or fight guys like Pulev, where you probably lose, but will learn a lot more??

    Like I said.....I don't rate him.
But I can see him being a better fighter at 30 than Miller.....
He already has bigger balls and a passport.

he lost to an old shot guy tonight. one who has avoided any challenge for awhile now. know why he fought huggie? because he wasn't a top flight opponent.

I’m not referring to what he’s achieved or not achieved in the ring, I’m referring to simply what I’m seeing. The old eye test. I do not see a guy who has top potential in Hughie. With Lewis there was a real fighter in there. You could see it.

Hughie is clearly trying to emulate Tyson, with his style and all, that he’s yet to find out who he himself is; what’s Hughie’s style? As I said, he should go back to basics and reinvent himself.

Hughie needs to follow his cousin's approach and do a bit of strength training. I didn't personally think Hughie would have had as much success as Tyson, because he's a few inches shorter. But you need to have some muscle mass, to compete against these huge behemoths. Not just come in with a skinny fat physique. You can make the argument with the bronze bomber, but he has a alot of lean muscle under that flawless light frame. lol.

Hughie will be lucky to land a top 10 spot when he peaks with the competition but one can't fault him here , he lost to a top ten guy who's only loss is to Klitchko.

I don't know where he is , maybe a Jennings rankings somewhere outside or about top 20 ?

I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with evaluating him though. Fair play for taking on the challenge, but by stepping up he does open himself up to criticism, objectively speaking, as we’re able to gauge where he’s at.

I do respect that he took on the challenge though, as there were easier fights out there, for sure.
