They are free to fight at a comfortable weight class, it’s up to them it decide what’s necessary. If you look at it from a health point of view, the whole idea of a sport where you get punched in the head is wrong. Why would these allow themselves to take blows on a regular basis, when they will almost certainly bring on some form of dementia in their senior ages.

Haha again. Thing is though, IMO...nothing more.... the boxers who do thank and credit their victories to the big G...wouldn't have the sense to refute and nullify our mocking arguments with the 'omniscient' 'omnipotent' argument. If you get me? which I'd be intelligent enough to resort to, if I was that dumb to start with (thanking 'deities' for wins.) Which creates a circular argument. Anyway I'll shut up about that now. Overdone it a bit.

I think the damage they're doing with this might bring about the end of the sport quicker. Long term its doomed anyway like eating meat and a whole load of other things I enjoy.

I remember telling a girl once that I'm glad there wasn't an interventionist God as I wouldn't want him to change a thing about her. I had some seriously cheesy lines that only a fellow teenager would not only buy but see as indicative of being clever or profound.

As an adult I laugh at having had the audacity to say a lot of it and will have plenty of warnings for any daughters I may have.

:sisi1 haha.....'his Apollo levels were way over the limit, clearly serious Wotan withdrawals. The Zeus juice was off the scale as was the Clenbaccusarol. Odinopostrone levels normal, for a pregnant woman.

Yeah you get a free pass as you were a teen. I can relate to the cringy memory as most of us have been there with that kind of squirmy crap ourselves at that age. It's forgivable. But yes, reading again....that is typical teenage corn alright haha

Moreover I can't believe it was effective. The teenage mind is a crazy, crazy thing.

The close bond between British HW's and their mothers is a genuine phenomenon, bordering on cliche. Bruno, Lennox, Haye, Joshua and there are others. All mummy's boys. It's a lovely tradition, and definitely a 'thing'...(albeit a very nice, wholesome one)

I hope not considering 2022 isn't that far away! I do think we'll move towards something that will be somewhat totalitarian in nature underpinned by a non religious 'ethical' framework. Things like veganism won't be lifestyle choices but mandated laws, it worries me but I have some optimism that I'll be proven wrong.

Referring to the ring as the ‘The squared circle’ always evokes a head scratch…

But ‘never hook with a hooker’ just leaves the door open for all kinds of wrong…
