He legitimately beat GGG not once, but twice.

I agree about Golovkin, but it's due to age. Don't know about Mayweather.

He would beat the crap of GGG, time is on his side, GGG would be older, less active, slower etc.

Mayweather is 5 years older than GGG. How is it that age is definitely the reason for the much younger GGG but you aren't sure if age is the reason for the much older Mayweather?

Ehhhh. I dont know I get your thinking, but of we are talking prime Canelo I don't think prime Canelo happened until 160. His stamina was terrible below 160.

    He would.

GGG clearly won the first one 7-5 imo

Canelo won the second one 7-5 In a more competitive fight

I don't think GGG has the fire anymore.
His team flat out said the "Charlo fight isn't going to happen. It doesn't make sense" despite the Wade and materosyan fights making 0 sense either.
the Tom Löffler Interview was cringe worthy.

I think the GGG that was all about the competition is gone and either him or his team are just trying to make as much money as possible at this point.(which they are entitled to do)

And GGG would get beaten badly a third time because he would be older and even less hungry

GGG is 37 and a very established name w/ 2 robbery losses to the 2nd biggest name in boxing. From here on out, it's money fights.

He's 36. Why say he's older than he really is?

As someone who thought Golovkin won both fights,
I agree, I think he'd dominate Golovkin comfortably
    if they fought again.

    1. The rematch wasnt a robbery. In order for a fight to be a robbery it has to be atleast a 9-3 type fight or the rounds have to be clear cut.
If you have it 8-4 or closer for GGG then it's not a robbery because several of the rounds were close so someone only has to disagree on 2 rounds and you have a different outcome.

Who's punches were more clean in the majority of the rounds?
(Canelo is the cleanest sharpest puncher in boxing while GGG very often lands cuffing blows on weird spots like the forehead(similar to George Foreman) which makes him less eye catching to the judges.)

    Who had the better defense?
    .........come on.

    who was the agressor?
Canelo, and you can tell it was effective because he made GGG back up for the first time of his career.

    Ring Generalship?
One guy took the center of the ring and made the other guy change his modus operandi for the first time of his career.

I thought GGG CLEARLY won a pretty competitive fight the first time.(Canelo making it close with the last 3 rounds but he had just not thrown enough punches to win rounds)

And Canelo CLEARLY won an even more competitive fight the second time(more competitive because of GGGs effort in the last 4 rounds. I thought GGG was not competitive at all the first 7 rounds)

    2. like I said he doesn't owe anyone anything. But the fact that he's only looking for money fights shows that his competitive drive is gone which means even if you don't think Canelo beat him before, he definitely will now.
