I'm not trying to bring him down. But his position on P4P Lists (generally no lower than 8) is absolutely bonkers.

Yeah I agree he only has one top level win so he barely scrapes top 8 to me. If he gets Porter he goes top 7 and he beats Crawford he flies into the top 3.

His being undefeated means very little. Prior to PAc, he had one good in, over Provodnikov.

I'm well aware of Brook's physical status. He was still a better win for Spence then Algieri, who really shouldn't have been at WW to begin with.

As for Lamont, you can say stuff like "took his soul", but that stuff just sounds like kids talk to me. Over boasting hyperbole as one would expect from a message board. If Peterson and Algieri fought, I'd take Lamont in a heartbeat.

A random thread, but I would actually have to agree. I think I could actually name 15 Pac wins better than Spences best win.

But is this really an indictment on Spence? Pacquiaos top 3-5 wins are better than any actives fighters best win.

Now he would probably stop Pac. Prime for prime. I dont know. Pac is the far better p4p fighter, but Spence has a massive size advantage.

He gave Khan a helluva fight too. Spence destroyed him like he was nothing. Against Pac he was nervous and not used to a big crowd. Spence fought an experienced Algieri.

nah, i think pac takes a fairly hard beating before realizing hes not at this level anymore and signaling to buboy hes had enough. thats if buboy lets it get to that point.

I cant see Pac quitting. And like I said I agree Spence beats Pac now.

Pac is probably the toughest fighter in years. But we have never seen him take a systematic beatdown before. Every war hes been in hes dished out a lot as well. So I dont know.

What I do know is Pacquiaos resume dumps on everybody's of the last 20 years not named ODLH. Hes the only guy whos resume is in the same league.

pac is my 4th favorite fighter all time, favorite in this millenium. started out awed by him, but not convinced, and not a fan. i thought jmm beat him first fight, but realized both were special fighters. i thought pac-hoya was a joke, and i rated hoya then, lower than i rate spence now, so you can imagine how i see mikey-spence now.
i mention mikey because i believe that you think ive downplayed what pac did below 126, when comparing what pac did with cotto to what mikey is doing with spence. thats not the case. what pac did below 126 is what makes pac a top 30 atg, imo. the singular feat, of simply taking 2 guys the size of mikey and pac, and putting them up against a highly rated man 15 lbs bigger, after having already stepped up and beaten increasingly bigger guys with belts, at least 4 previous times, is the only thing i am factoring in.

Mikey is bigger than Pac by some margin. Hell, Pac looked tiny against Erik Morales and undersized against Marquez.

So against Spence hes going to look like a little kid.

Pac is the greatest fighter of the cable TV era hands down. Any argument made for another fighter will be destroyed easily.

i believe they are roughly the same size. i dont think pac can make 135 and i dont expect mikey to be able to make it when hes pacs age. i think pac could make 140 today and i expect mikey to be able to make 140 when hes pacs age. do you disagree with anything in this paragraph?
you act like anything mikey does could not be as great as what pac did because he didnt skip meals when he was 16 and get to the business of collecting belts. you have to view everything in its proper context. do you think unifying vs easter is the same as beating diaz?

Easter is as good as Diaz. Pac looked tiny against Morales. And smaller than Marquez. Do you think Garcia would look smaller than Morales or Marquez?

you tell me. does that look like a guy who would dwarf the fighters youre talking about? did anyone ever think, just 4 short years ago, that one day pacs fans would be trying to make him out to be bigger than pac?
