I think Yarde would last longer, I think he would try to box and the same fate would occur though. I agree with the idea Johnson may have come closer to winning, He probably should have won, Beterbiev was badly hurt and for whatever reason Johnson didn't capitalize.
I was this close to adding Valera, Akhmedov and Sims Jr. but Sequiera, Sek and Sjekloca were okay opponents and wins, and a little better than any of theirs at this point, but yeah, all three, probably 5 you mentioned, destroy Yarde..
Sims Jr. is the truth. IIRC, Stepien has scored 5 body shot KOs in a row, including beating 9-0 Cuban Dayron Lester. Arthur has stopped a whole bunch of very durable journeymen who have had lots of fights, lose regularly, but don't get stopped often at all. Stopped them all early too even though a couple of them are CWs.
I was more going by H2H regarding Sims than resume. Valera would stand a good chance of beating Yarde into a quivering unconscious heap and so would Akhmedov IMO.
Valera actually is pretty decent and apart from the fact he was down two times vs Bivol i think he did much better than the scorecards suggest. Also vs. Barrera he did well apart from those point deductions.
Beat me to it there, the guy is a gym celebrity (local gym celebrity). Can’t stand flashy training and pad work videos, and this guy lives for it. Can’t belive he’s addidas first European boxing ambassador wtf man.
He dropped Barrera, whereas the KD Barrera scored against him was bogus. And he gets bonus points from me for this This content is protected
Emeritus: Andre Ward 1. Stevenson 2. Alvarez 3. Bivol 4. Jack 5. Beterbiev 6. Gvoz 7. Kovalev 8. Browne 9. Barrera 10. Joe Smith
Gvozdyk although high on the rankings is untested, that doesnt mean he cant be top 3. Radivoje Kalijic beat Marcus Browne and should be undefeated, but because he doesnt have a good promoter is now fighting weak competition in Florida. Hot rod needs to sign with a good promoter to see how good he is.
