In the UK it will because of Fury's side. In the States which will be Wilder's income it won't do too well.

Almost as comical as Andre Ward claiming that a rematch between him and Froch over in the UK would at the very least equal, if not surpass, the number of tickets they shifted for Froch vs Groves II a fight which up until then was the ''Biggest Fight in British Boxing History'' and was watched by 80,000 at Wembley Stadium. And yes Ward was being deadly serious lol

And ''let's have it right.'' Donkey is piggybacking of Fury's fame and needs him and his gift of the gab, charisma, personality and skills as a salesman to talk up and sell the fight to catapult him from obscurity to becoming a star, even if it's just a minor one.

True Joshua has brought a lot more interest in the heavyweight division in the UK and Fury has benefited from that no doubt. Every UK heavyweight has benefited from Joshua's presence. Dubois only needed that story about that KD in sparring and everyone knows who he is in the boxing community.

If this fight breaks 300k they will be very lucky
GGG vs Jacobs didnt break 200k despite Golovkin being a much bigger name than Deontae

I am sorry but I do not see 400,000 people in the UK staying up till 4 to watch Fury. Again I hope I am wrong and I do get your point about his following increasing while inactive, his legend has grown in his absence certainly. I hope they sell a ton and both make a boatload of money boxers deserve it. I just feel US and UK combined will be 300-350 mark tops.

The fight will sell 33k-360K ppv buys
440k-660k would be magick but don't get your hopes too high it's his first PPV.

That's BS. Heavyweights do NOT attract more PPV. Lennox Lewis did about 400-500k for his regular fights. 800-1.1 million vs. Holyfield and Tyson only which were A list superstars. And that was during the best years of boxing PPV.

It dont matter what it does, even if it sold 64 PPV,s and it turned out most the tickets were bought by some resale site who couldnt shift them Finkel, DiBella and some of his other managers would be calling it a box office smash, huge success, we know who the number 1 is now 60-40 and we should be taking control of the fight and bring it to the US.
