I'd go for Wilder based on the big heavyweights he's dropped and how their heads rocked when hit. This question has led me to wonder about who actually does hit the hardest in the whole division. Is it Wilder? Joshua? Dubois? or is it a no name fighter who can't box well?
="GALVATRON, post: 19502764, member: 115453"]Ernie shavers doesn't have any relevant Knockouts in his first 40 fights . Not for me. This content is protected How big puncher he was is very similar to how wilder got his reputation and that's getting no quality knockouts. This doesn't suggest they don't hit hard but clearly theres guys ranked above them if you really look into the actual fights and the way the punches land. This content is protected Guys like Holmes can claim shavers hit harder then Tyson but again video will show you otherwise as Tyson dismantled Holmes with FAR few more punches and rounds . This content is protected An interesting fact is all the top guys Shavers fought who said he was the hardest hitter defeated him. This content is protected I even got foreman on twitter to concede he hit harder when discussing it,something he never did as he favored shavers in a power contest....again I showed him otherwise and with hard points to counter. You can easily see who hits harder by actual resumes and opposition combined...now I got a guy telling me Shavers is the the king of knockout power. when the guys has never k.od any SHW worth noting ....???? Take a look at his resume real close...worse then Wilders in terms of who he knocked out. SMH
The entire post you have is jargon which is easily proven wrong. 1. You have to look at the opponents best Knockout or do you not count completion either ? lol 2 you say im unfamiliar with shavers opponets well please enlighten me who he knocked out to get such a reputation ? surely a quality opponent ranks over quantity? 3.You CAN use same opposition if it warrants it and we can do that with Shavers . 4. If one hits so hard surely he wouldn't lose all the top fights but one right? 5. Shavers p4p surely hits hard but one can seriously say hes the hardest hitter now and not even in his own era bc you can make arguments for Lyle who has better knockouts with better guys and proven power with Foreman level and Foreman himself which I mentioned . 6. Its statistical FACT that heavier opponents drops a persons k.o percentage...its PROVEN and in just about any weight class its why someones power goes down when they don't have a size advantage its why weights classes were created in the first place if we actually went with MODERN standards the HW's would be readjusted bc few fight below 215 pounds.. Just look at Mike Tyson and Foremans resume both drop DRAMATICALLY...how many guys over 225 has Shavers knocked out ? 7. Im not here to prove to you anything on Foreman,i can say the sky is blue its up to you to believe it or not ! lol
meh. debate didnt advance one iota. discouraged by the level of understanding needed to advance this any further, i will leave you to your beliefs and let the future deal with your present lack of understanding.
Wilder hits harder, that's his gift, he does not outclass or outbox his opponents, in fact he often gets outboxed, but when he lands his opponents land on the canvas.
Ive already said Wilder hits harder but Wilder hitting harder against people half as good as the ones Josuha been hitting. Its not so easy to land on the good fighters as they know how to defend and they know how to read you and counter you. Wilder hits harder but put him in with an AJ, Wlad, Povetkin and they will give you reasons why you cant keep windmilling and forgetting any defence to wind up bombs at any given oppertunity. Against the top boys Wilder will have to consider his bombs if he wants to stay awake. But Ortiz doe, Ortiz doe, Ortiz was ****ed my friends and not very well and still nearly took Wilder out.
Not much footage on him yet he will have a definate knock out highlights to come, only 23 and carries top power already not even half way through career and will fill out more a solid 6'4 240 plus pounder. Crushing body shots which will be bad news if they carry the same damage at top level .
Can't remember where i saw it but a perfect description is "AJ has fight changing power, Wilder has fight ending power"
