How do you think would David Price have done against Wilders first 32 opponents?

I think if Wilder had fought Tony Thompson in 2013, the year Price fought Thompson and Wilder knocked out Sergei Likahovich, I think Tony Thompson would've been picking his teeth up off the floor.

Even though they turned pro at roughly the same time, Wilder's 16th fight took place TWO YEARS before Price's 16th fight, because Wilder needed money.

That's why this "counting" fights stuff is nonsense. They both stepped up in the same year - 2013. Wilder filled his early years with more fights against anyone he could get because he needed the money.

Price took his time because he could afford to.

 

Wilder was the one who wasn't prepared. He had the flu for weeks and lost 10 pounds because he couldn't eat.

The only thing Ortiz lacked during preparation were his PEDs.

 

Price would defeat all of the bums Wilder fought easily

I think the Ortiz fight is 50-50. But if Price can't put him on the canvas and finish it within 4 rounds, he's done.

The rest of them he puts into retirement. Price is bad but against guys who use a high guard, he will decimate them with those power punches. None of Wilder's opponents pose as dangerous a threat as Povetkin does. I actually think the current version of Price is someone hiding in the shadows, waiting to pounce. We saw glimpses of this new rejuvenated price against Povetkin and Kuzmin. Against lesser opponents who don't have that same amateur experience he will shine. Yes his chin isn't the greatest, but what do the likes of Stiverne, Duhaupas, Arreola and so on pose? The answer is not very much.

 

Arreola would have walked right through Price. Arreola is durable and can punch, that's all you need against Price...

 

TO be fair the version that Wilder fought was way way past his 'best'. And Pricey recently had a very game version of Povetkin on rubber legs stumbling back into the ropes. IMO he'd have an excellent chance of stopping a washed up Arreola.

 

That Arreola was completely washed up and got a gift against Kauffman the fight before IIRC.

Stiverne. Duhaupas, and Arreola can all punch and Price is allergic to punchers.

Also, Stiverne beat Price in the amateurs and would've destroyed Price if Wilder and Price switched places in 2015.

This was true if we were talking about Arreola from 08-2013. Check out his last couple of fights. No power to be seen there.

 

Lol Price fights exactly the same now as he did then. I think Stiverne is horrifically shot though. He was floored by Rossy and may have not even won that fight. Looked terrible in Wilder II. Price who showed up in last 2 fights probably beats current Stiverne.

You are obviously quite dim. If you could read and comprehend a sentence, you would have understood my post. I will try and be crystal clear, in regard to your little mind. Wilder fan boys, like you, bring up the Ortiz win. The guy is probably 55 years old. The 2nd part of my original post was in relation to the readiness of Fury, leading in to his fight with Wilder.
