Mosley was way past his prime but an ATG or close to it. HOF at the least. Brook was also past his prime. Prime Brook I would rate over past prime Molsey.

I dont rate Pacs win over Mosley because like you said he was pretty far gone. I rarely bring it up, but in this context I do. It's a better win than Spence over past prime Brook.

De La Hoya was far more faded than Brook, against Forbes before the Manny fight he was awful and clearly shot, if you take how well Brook started vs Spence and put him in with this shot version of Oscar Brook would have toyed with him, boxers can age overnight at that age.

Yes, he moved up 2 weight divisions. But he's a big guy like Spence is. It's not like your average fighter moving up 2 weight classes. Yes, he moved back down afterwards. And it's always been extremely difficult for him to make 147. But he was declared fit to fight and he showed in the fight with Spence that he still had a lot left in the tank. If you want to see what a fighter has left, you look at what they bring on fight night. He gave Spence a great fight. It was close until the final stages. So despite what you've noted, Brook was a huge threat that night.

Even though he wasn't at 100%, he was still a better fighter than Algieri and De La Hoya. Oscar was like a zombie against Manny. His tank was empty. He was just a punch bag. He didn't even rehydrate after the weigh-in. He'd looked poor in the Forbes fight and the fight against Manny was the end of the road for him. So there's no way that Manny's win over him rates higher than Spence's win over a game Brook, who gave it all in front of his home fans.

What do you mean "no way!" ?

Of course he'd have caused him problems.

    Define 'problems'

Kell is a huge WW, with good skills, great speed and very good power.

He'd have been a big threat to an ageing version of Floyd at WW.

I loved Shane, but he shouldn't have been fighting then. I'm sure his speech was slurred at that point.

Not if Mosley caught with the shot he rocked Mayweather, the jab to the body that set that punch up was class and came at great speed.

Yes Mosley even at an old age was game. But let it be known if Prime Mosley landed that same shot on Floyd an avalanche of punches would have followed.

FMJ avoided any young top WW for a reason. He was old and didn't want it

This vid shows how Mayweather would have toyed with Brook.

The problem here is you must not rate all but only a literal couple if any of most of the 40 best fighters in boxing today if you don't rate Spence over Brook at all. Ask yourself how many of Lomachenko's wins are better than Spence over Brook. What, two?

In a career that spanned over twenty years, Márquez was known for being a fast and highly technical boxer who was exceptionally skilled at combinations and counterpunches, yet also willing to engage in slugfests with opponents. He was also credited for his toughness, and never lost a fight by stoppage. His most notable bouts include his four-fight saga with Manny Pacquiao and his fight against fellow Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera. Márquez is considered to be one of the greatest Mexican boxers of all time,[1]and is ranked by BoxRec as the 30th greatest boxer of all time, as well as second best Mexican fighter of all time, pound for pound.[2]In 2008, The Ring ranked him as the world's second best active boxer, pound for pound.

Well then, what are Pacquiao's 15 best wins?
    1-2.JMM x 2
    3.De La Hoya
    4-5.Morales x2
    6-7.Barrera x2
    8.Cotto
    9.Mosley
    10.Margarito
    11.Hatton
    12-14.Bradley x3
    15.Sasakul

Spence beating Brook is a better scalp than Manny beating Sasakul. It wouldn't be top 7 or maybe even top 8 for Manny but that's still better than Manny's 15th top victory.
