Certainly Bellew can box,has a good ratio of attack and defence and in that time honoured saying styles makes fights I’m inclined to agree that he matches up better than Gassiev.
Very rare do I call fights but I called Bellew to beat Haye both times as I knew Haye was only back for a pay day and had nothing to give.
Obviously if Usyk gets a stoppage or KO he wins but otherwise I have this awful feeling they sticking USyk up for a loss as it doesn’t matter what we think or the commentary team think,if Hearns judges give it to Bellew that will be the end of it.

There’s being a fan of Bellew and then there’s this. What a load of bull feces.

There’s a reason why Bellew ran from Briedis and yeah, Gassiev was ridiculously outclassed by Usyk but he’d still do a number on bellend. The only thing he has done of note is sneak his way to a WBC strap, run away and fight shot to **** David Haye. Twice. The whole CW Top5 beats him and so does anyone else with a pulse (i.e not BJ Flores and the likes)

Bellew was pooing his pants in the first Haye fight until Haye got injured Haye was actually winning the fight. The second fight Bellew knew Haye was a corpse and wasn't worried about return fire.

 

Where does this 'toe to toe' Bellew talk come from? He ran from a crippled shot to **** Haye in their first fight and only moved in on the second when he was 200% sure he had absolutely nothing left.

He's talked big loads but what are his actual achievements? Going out like a punk against Adonis? Beating an old cripple? Squeaking past a way past his best Cleverly? Getting up from a Makabu shot?

He's been drinking his own kool-aid and going to get his ass handed to him once and for all. Can't wait.

 

Bellew has been looking great, but I don't think 20,000 screaming scousers are going to distract Usyk from gradually dismantling Bellews game plan and the collective hopes of said scousers in whatever way he feels most appropriate to at the time. It's not going to be an easy day in the office, boxing isn't a game - but I feel that a couple of good performances against a broken Haye shouldn't be used as a gauge when Bellew is fighting someone who could turn out to have been good enough to school *peak* Haye.

 

Honestly, I dont understand why you want to push so hard on Uzyk.

This guy is doing great, he's really good (I was sceptic at the beginning, not any more, he's actually an excellent fighter), dont rush him... whatever he does I'm sure it will be the right decision. He has managed his career great up to now. I'll be willing to watch whatever his next fights are, he managed to do really good up to now, I'm sure he will continue to offer us great fights. Let's just enjoy, we will have time for everything.
