Will Usyk dare to go toe to toe with the bomber?

I don't know what a Scouser is but I'mgoing to start using it as an insult.

Bellew running from Briedis is laughable when Briedis barely beat Perez, who is a scrub compared to Bellew. Bellew did Brieidis a favor by not fighting him, since Briedis would've got knocked out. Also, Makabu is a better puncher than either Gassiev Briedis. Gassiev's best wins are Lebedev, who was old and semi-shot and Dorticos, who barely beat a shot Edison Miranda and a semi-shot Masternak. Makabu would've flattened to featherfisted and weak chinned Dorticos in half the time that it took Gassiev to get the job done.

Gassiev's performance against Usyk was pitiful to the point that even Sanchez was embarrassed. Usyk was clearly carrying Gassiev as a sign of mercy. Even the featherfisted and inactive Michael Hunter showed more heart and was far more competitive against Usyk.

Any word on how comfortably Usyk makes weight? Can he put on 10-20 lbs without any problem? If he can he has a real good chance at beating Wilder. If he will be 15 to 20 lbs lighter, I don't think so.

A duck partially fuelled by desire to get as much money as possible from his newfound title that he wasn’t even supposed to have until he fought Briedis.

Bellew was supposed to fight Briedis as part of the 4 man “tournament” to find the new WBC champ after Drozd became champ in recess.
Bellew barely got by Makabu, Briedis stopped Durodolla, then Bellend swerved Briedis by fighting his mate, top25 CW BJ Flores as a “voluntary defence”, while Briedis was given a fight on that same card agains Vallily. Then Bellend still wouldn’t fight him and moved up to HW to fight a big money fight against shot to hell Haye.
Saying that he would’ve KO’d Briedis just shows us you’re either an idiot or a die hard Bellew fan which is the same thing essentially.

Bellew has been incredibly lucky so far, for a guy with mediocre boxing abilities, and even his “luck” comes from Hearn shifting things behind the scenes so that man is an absolute phoney and will be dealt with as such when he steps in the ring with Usyk.

There's a very good argument that Bellew wouldn't even be one of Usyk's top 3 wins as a pro.

People saying he ducked bredis to fight haye are having a laugh

We know NOW THAT Haye was shot but if you'd proposed Bredis vs Haye back then everyone would have picked Haye via decapitation.

Not really. The duck started with fighting Flores first, then Haye.
Most people knew exactly what was going on when Bellew tried to land the Haye fight, but everyone thought that Haye, even if shot, still had enough left.
It was a risky fight still, but a lot less risky than fighting Briedis and the potential reward was bigger too. Did it make sense to avoid Briedis? Yeah. Still a duck though.

    Lmao

No mate it was not considered "less risky" than bredis not even remotely.

There were literally people saying Eddie Hearn needed his promotors license revoked because he was going to get someone killed making these kind of mismatches

Yes Haye was shot, yes we know that NOW but don't revisionist history that fight because it was seen as khan Canelo level mismatch going in.

Your Canelo Khan analogy would only work if Bellew was as skilled as Khan, Canelo was as shot as Haye and weight difference around CW&HW mattered as much as it does between welterweight and middleweight.

Like I said, everyone thought they’ll see at least part of the Haye of old, that guy would’ve mopped the floor with Bellend but it just goes to show how good Hearn and Haye are at selling ideas.

Perez is no more a 'scrub' than Masternak is. Who is a 'scrub' compared to Breidis. And Bellew couldn't even KO that 'scrub'. But somehow he is going to KO Breidis (who has never even been KO'ed in kickboxing where greater durability is required to take kicks, much less boxing where less durability is required to take punches). But somehow Bellew is going to KO this breidis when he couldn't even KO Masternak? Seems delusional! Which is what you're exposing yourself to be!

Perez was ONLY ever KO'ed by Povetkin. Other than Povetkin, nobody ever beat Perez more convincingly than Breidis who beat him by CLEAR decision. It wasn't a fight that he 'barely' won.

Breidis is far more intelligent than Bellew. Get REAL! He's not only a former boxing champion, but was also successful in kickboxing, where he has transitioned to boxing brilliantly and is able to use many of the techniques from kickboxing in boxing, techniques Bellew has probably never even heard of, much less uses.

Gassiev is inexperienced and is young. He has a lot of room for improvement! But he still has a better resume than Makabu and is more proven! Who is probably Bellew's best win.

Yunier ''El Featherfisto'' Dorticos strikes again

Mateusz Masternak (41-5, 28 KO) summed up his Saturday fight against Yuniel Dorticos (23-1, 21 KO).Despite good posture and even fight, the Pole lost to Cubans unanimously on points.

    - Unfortunately, my adventure with the tournament has come to an end. I have not watched the fight yet, but from the perspective of the ring I feel that I deserved to win and I did enough. The judges saw it differently and often happens with fairly even duels. Most of my opponent's blows landed on a thump or air, but they were very strong and could impress the referees. I felt relatively comfortable in the ring, but I also knew that I could not afford the smallest mistake, because the strong blow of Dorticos is not a myth - says "Master".

    - A difficult moment, because I believed in myself and that I would do something more in the tournament, but I also met my other dream and fans' dream. Never, but never really, I have not received so much congratulations, words of appreciation, support and thanks for the effort and heart put into the duel !! All these words make me aware that I am not alone, that what I do, makes sense that despite fighting in various corners of the world I have to fight for someone. Until the end of the year I want to rest from boxing.I'm doing a lot in my private life now and I want to focus on that - says Masternak.

The Pole's fight against the Cuban was the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series tournament. In the duel for the final, Dorticos will face American Andrew Tabithi.

    Murat Gassiev

"Dorticos is a great fighter, great champion, true hard-hitter and the real warrior. He never gives up.

“He did a great job,” Gassiev said of Dorticos. “He’s a great champion. He's a very hard hitter. I respect him a lot. I hope he’s good, he’s healthy after [the] fight and good luck with his professional career.”

“It was a very hard fight,” Gassiev said afterwards. “He has hard punches all fight. He never gave up. He takes punches and he keeps fighting,”Gassiev said.
