Can you actually imagine paying PPV to watch Chisora??? 2 fights ago he stunk the place out and lost to someone nobody knew and last time was last chance saloon v Takem ...

add this to Dillian Whyte who has improved but still had many stinking fights and i wonder why it is even near a PPV and why anyone would pay for this privilege ???

oh and there is no belt ....

Is that where we are now? the eliminator for AJ 2 fights down the line is a PPV?

stinks and more fool anyone falling for it

On that last point Warren announced his show long before Hearn did. Hearn had Whyte v TBA only when Warrington v Frampton was finalised. Hearn was even floating the idea of adding Whyte to one of his US cards.

Listen, last year, Hearn announced Bellew v Haye II on SUNDAY December 17. What’s changed now? Why clash with Warren’s show? It’s on Hearn this clash, not Warren.

Mark Tibbs is the Billy Mitchell of British boxing. Totally unnecessary to come at Don Charles like he did. Would like to see him try those games against Big Peter Fury. Little Billy Mitchell Tibbs would swiftly be put in his place, tail hanging and pants soiled.

Yep. Also reserving an arena or stadium means nothing. Hearn had the Principality Stadium reserved on two weekends in November and one weekend in December in case Khan-Brook got made. Warren can't plan his shows based on Hearn's tentative plans, that would be ludicrous.

Also, Warren has in the past moved shows when Hearn has announced a clashing show after. He postponed Liam Smith v Liam Williams the first time round because Hearn announced Joshua for that day. Sure he did that to boost the views for his own shows but that's one example where he spared the fans the misfortune of dealing with a clash.

I can normally stomach a PPV or 2 and not got too worked up, but it's hard to take when you've got Hearn sat there telling us how grateful we should be when we only have to pay £20 a PPV whereas US fans are being fleeced for 80-100 dollars. In reality if I wanted to watch all boxing available in December id paying well in excess of £100. Its a complete farce. Obviously Warren is just as bad too for the record.

The sooner we get a a genuine subscription service over here, the better.

**** Hearn. Why is it always about him. Open your eyes. Warren is at fault too. None of these are box office fights.

Sky subscriptions are 20% down. Viewing figures for sports including football are falling for the first time since records began. Sky have made a half arsed attempt to streamline their model with Skyarena etc.

It may not be the end but it's certainly the end of the beginning. In a few years time the landscape could look very different, one which fingers crossed could allow a steaming service to thrive.

Sorry to be "that bloke" but I don't suppose you have a source for the 20% figure?

The chief executive of Scunthorpe united randomly- jack rodwell. He sits on a football league panel dealing directly with sky to negotiate Tv rights for Football League clubs. He explained it in some depth last year at a fans forum.

Barb have also released figures to confirm average viewership has declined.

Exactly mate and not too long into the future when people laugh at all those people who had a bin lid hanging from their walls.

Sky have squeezed customers so hard that when there is a wide choice of sports platforms, consumers will stick 2 fingers up at Sky.

The days of monopolising multi sports rights are gone and I agree the glory days of Sky are behind them.
