Rosales is a bad style matchup for Edwards imo, tough ask that.

Apparently he's gunning for Mthalane the current IBF flyweight champ. Difficult really because you don't tend to get a European level at the low weights, it's either stay at domestic level or get thrusted into the mix with title contenders.

 

I would love it if Cheeseman v Fowler could be added to this one. Cheeseman has just been in a tough 12-rounder so I highly doubt he'd be back out before Xmas but it's a great fight that would serve well on this undercard. Fowler was on IG or Twitter, can't remember, saying that that would be a top of the bill fight but I disagree.

I want to see domestic 50/50 fights on the undercard. No mismatches or tune up nonsense. If Eggington wants another crack at that African bloke who beat the bricks out of him, stick it on here.

 

Read a Fowler interview on Sky where he said his next fight will be for a title this year, then he'll fight Fitzgerald & after that Cheeseman in co-main event at Anfield on Callum Smith's undercard

 

Sam eggington v the Africans guy would be a good on this undercard !

Fowler and cheeseman will build longer if they want it to be top of the bill they need to send Fowler after the commonwealth title and make it for the British and commonwealth title for that to be top of the bill

May be wrong but I think the BBBoC slapped a 60 day ban on Cheeseman after the Byfield victory and he'd need to appeal it if he wants to fight again before xmas. Personally I think he should rest up. He was cut and it was a tough fight. Taking on a tough fight in Fowler so soon could be a bit too much.
