I agree I had Burns winning against Crolla too. I also think they could potentially get another crack at the world title and come up short. To me hes a game keeper as if you beat someone like him you put yourself right in the mix, whilst seeing Burns as someone who isn't world class anymore.

 

Burns has to go down as one of Scotland’s greatest boxers 3 weight world champion and only lost to world class fighters 7 losses all but one against world world champions or future world champions (Alex Arthur interim wbo) would like to see him go to USA and make a ton of money and sail in to the sun

Burns became a gatekeeper when he skipped away from Indongo for 12 rounds in the most gutless performance in a UK ring if we exclude the recent Martin Bakole farce

 

I have to say it was a terrible performance. Ever since the broken jaw he has lost the will to go into the trenches and isnt mentally the same fighter.

 

Yes should have retired after that fight and would have been close to Scotland's version of Joe Calzaghe with his record at the time.

Warden ruined him financially and he just fights for money.

Awful to watch now and he cannot engage due to the jaw.

 

it could have also been the case that thats when he stepped up his level of opponents lol his best win really is martinez apart from that his resume is filled with trash fighters and losses to world class fighter
