What are the possibilities of The Monster gaining a huge following outside Japan in the future? He's still young and has a lot of years ahead of him. Can he become a more widely popular name in boxing right now alongside Canelo, GGG, Loma, Crawford, Wilder, Joshua? Would be nice if at some point he becomes a PPV attraction and have an even bigger fan base. He's too good to not have a wider appeal with casual fans.

    Doubtful.

Inoue would have to do crazy weight climbs.

And Inoue doesn't have a story to tell like Pacquiao and he speaks less (if he even speaks any) English than Pacquiao.

Too small I think, most boxing fans couldn't care less about midgets. Down in those weight classes theres too many weight classes too - just have one big meal once and you can move up to a new weight class with 4 new world titles  , or go the toilet once and you can move down  so the term 'multi weight' world champion has less meaning, plus there's not as many fighters in those very light weightclasses.

Sure why not? I normally don't follow much under 135 or 147 but I enjoyed watching a highlight vid cst80 posted, plus the fight today. Dude can bang and has good skill. Plus I find Japanese fighters fun to watch, fierce competitors.

Hoping that Inoue becomes a super star after his showing against Donaire. The Monster has star power quality that deserves as much attention as Canelo.

Prince Patel is a horrible style match up. In the wise words of Dwyer never hook with a hooker

Too many boxing fans dismiss the "lower weight divisions." Too many outright bash them.

    He deserves to be, however.

He can if he has a dance partner. You have to have decent competition in order for people want to see the fight. I’m talking the casual. Boxing hardcore fans already see him as a star.

No chance to be a star in the US. He's 27 and nobody knows who he is here. Plus, he fights in a weight class barely anyone cares about. It is what it is.
