That's incredible for a modern fighter. We will never see that again in boxing. With all these belts, ducking and waiting out games. All this Haymon BS is going to kill legacies.

For comparison sake Canelo has zero such fights. So do Crawford, Loma, Inoue, etc.

The defining fights of Pacquiaos career are Barrera I, Marquez I, Marquez II, Morales I, Hatton and Cotto. Pacquiao is 4-1-1 in those fights. That's incredible. Not only did he fight the best he usually won.

For comparison the defining fights of DLH career are Trinidad, Mosley I and Mosley II. He is 0-3 in the big fights.

Boxing last great hope for greatness that stands the test of time is Usyk. Hes undisputed champ. Has beaten Breidies and Gassiev. Two HOF talents. Breidis should get in when he dominates the tournament. Gassiev will likely get in after he wins a HW title. And then when he schools Joshua eternal glory awaits. I am very feel for Usyk.

But I digress. Pacquiaos legend continues to amaze.

Best resume of his era comfortably. Cotto at 145lb allows that argument that he was drained, even though I believe he was in great shape for that fight

Cotto said himself 145 was even better than 147 for him.

Truly a magnificent specimen, he was undersized in almost all his elite level fights yet he came out on top.

Barrera's the only win on his CV that doesn't have an asterisk next to it for me, he lost to Morales, the two fights with Marquez many people believe he lost, Hatton is not an ATG and the Cotto win was after Pac had moved up to 147 and was juiced to the gills.

Pac's still a nailed on HOF'er but there's a lot question marks about his legacy.

Barrera, Morales and were not prime and Morales still beat him, Marquez also beat Pacquiao and Hatton is not a atg and was coming from a Mayweather beat down

Canelo would have beaten Manny and landed far more body shots on Floyd than Manny even threw, Cotto`s body work was great against Floyd also and his stamina had improved by the time he fought Floyd.

Cotto and Hatton are HOF level but not ATG level. Maybe Morales was still prime in their first fight, but Pac lost that one.

And you're being a tad hard on Oscar. He legitimately won the second Moseley fight even though he didn't get the decision. I have no problem with him losing the Trinidad fight since he ran like a ***** and should have been disqualified.

Yeah but then he beat morales two times after, the marquez fights were just so incredible and so close that either could've won and people will still cry the same that the other was robbed and i don't really have time to discuss that juicing up claim so im gonna pass on that.

What do you mean they're not prime when pac beat them? Is 29 yrs old the same as 36 that time? Every atg has beaten guys who came off losses and some of those guys even managed to rebound after a loss so what's your point? Pac just had hatton's number that night.

It’s a great resume and proves that he’s clearly the number 2 fighter of his era.
