Future Hall of Famer just keeps padding the resume.

Round 2 Donaire vs. Tete?! Love it.

Of course but you have to factor in donaires age and draining from 126lbs to a younger fresher fighter, whose in his prime. listen if taylor wins by ko im going to win some good cash as i couldnt believe the odds they were giving donaire. frampton > burnett, but 126 to 118lbs donaire? Id give burnett a big edge. i think handspeed difference was there, donaire is a one trick pony really, that left hook would have petered out.

I wanted Burnett to win since Donaire is just a shadow of himself. If Burnett won and beat Tete, Inoue gets a lot of credit for beating Burnett. If Donarie somehow knocks Tete out and Inoue stops Donaire, then 118 is just complete dog ****. Donaire is a shell of his former self, he even said post rigo he doesn't have the drive and that was 5 ****ing years ago.

Calm down man there's still tete. Although i had donaire 2-1 before the stoppage if it wasn't for this incident the result might have been different.

He did. Donaire was domating the 4th and towards the end he ****ed his back up. Would have been 2-2 regardless of the injury though.

Nah, you can be even in round and still be beating the heck out of the other. And that's what happened. Appart from that I had it 3-1, not 2-2. Still even rounds, I repeat, but with one guy winning clearly and with power.

Nah, Donaire looked sharp, and better IMO than he has in his last few outings, it was a good idea moving back down, he should have stayed there to start with, it was a terrible idea for him to move to Featherweight. And remember, Donaire was hurting The Jackal late and pouring on the pressure, there's no guarantee that the same wouldn't have happened here today.

Donaire has a shot. Tete was wide open to the right hand, and Aloyan obliged. Tete never adapted that I could see.

I had Donaire winning the first (the body shots landed were the best punches of the round). Burnett won the next two on my card, since I thought Ryan did well to slip a lot of Nonito's punches when he had his back to the ropes, before firing back with cleaner shots.

That said, Donaire was still competitive at the time if the injury and neither fighter really seemed to be dominating the other or looking as though they were about to pull away. It was still there for the taking in either case.

After this tournament ends, I'd say a rematch might be in order if circumstances permit.

He was in pain just sitting on the stool at the end i.e. non-weightbearing, he had a sort of 1000 yd stare.

Few ibuprofen, some strepils and tubi grip and he'll be fine! :D

I didn't see Donaire clearly winning. He had momentum but I thought Burnett won 1 and 2.
