Why is the Wilder/Fury undercard such a poor undercard card?

Because you would think with Al Haymon's stable, he could easily stack the undercard with the big PBC names but instead we get crap fights.

    So what gives?

Its because they havnt really given the undercard much of a thought. They feel aslong as they get the headline fight thats enough to sell the fight, they just added a few known names so they can put them as also featuring this guy or that guy, they didnt want to go spending money on good opposition for these guys as they just needed to use their names to sell the card.

I think the problem is the money. This fight ain't selling like they thought it would and the two guys in the main event has sucked everything dry. Its hard to get top names for peanuts.

because they'd lose even more money. this ppv is going to set records for financial loss.

And they are going to to try tell us the opposite has happened. There is no shame in not being able to match Anthony Joshua figures and numbers but thats what they are trying to make this appear to be like and thats what they are telling us is going to happen. Thats why the tickets and PPV has been way over priced.

Because delusional Wilder+Fury want too much money for themselves. So, it's almost no budget left for a decent undercard.

Perhaps the bigger names still aren't sure the Fury/Wilder fight will actually go through?

    Is that possible?

There is not a single decent fight on this card. Ortiz vs Joyce needs to be made to save it.

I’m happy that Barriga is fighting on it but it does feel odd that the best fight on a heavyweight title undercard is a minimumweight title fight lol

Why would they give more money away to have big fights on their undercard??
