Lomachenko putting in work for the Pedraza clash

It’s very likely Loma just completely dominates the Sniper but I’m going to support my country man here. I think Pedraza has enough skill and intelligence to make this a chess match for while.

Strange that he’s training as an orthodox

 

It’s an interesting approach especially when he’s fighting a boxer as fluid and Pedraza. I expect Loma to lean out some of that bulk muscle before the fight.

Maybe he thinks his normal pace fits into Pedraza’s comfort zone and applying a more explosive bulldozing approach ala Tank versus Pedraza would be more effective in the long run.

 

Why is he orthodox? This makes me concerned about his recovery from injury. Hopefully it’s just him showing off since it’s likely he did extra training as an orthodox fighter while recovering.

 

What the hell is ‘leaning out bulk muscle’? Muscle is muscle, and losing muscle isn’t good.

 

I've not seen him throw a right hook yet in numerous recent videos... Is he preserving his shoulder or do u think there is still an issue?

Just going to agree with some other posters here that I'm not sure if he was training mostly orthodox in this video because he can/showing off - or if it's because his shoulder hasnt healed as well as he would like
