The big one is next Saturday. I think bellew will pose major problems for USYK on the level we haven't seen yet, which will make for a compelling matchup. Still pick USYK but bellew will be tough. And I was the guy that said YSYK would toy with bellew.. my how a few years can change ones opinion, huh?

True, which is why I don't see him getting past prograise if he reaches the finals.

He barely scraped by Postol. He won 6-7 rounds on most people's cards. How am I crazy? He's around the same level as Postol. A little above. And that's a 34 year old postol with no momentum, not a 32 year old Postol coming in with a **** ton of momentum. Crawford dominated him in a non-competitive fight. How delusional of a fanboy do you have to be to try and play it off like Taylor could have put that same performance on but chose not to. Jesus, Taylor fanboys are funny.

When watching the Taylor fight he kinda reminded me of a southpaw lomachenko with his body posture, foot movement and the way he punched and moved and constantly created angles for himself, not on lomachenko level but still nice to watch

Those are all toss up fights for me. Even though Taylor's real test was an old Postol that was on a bad run, that's not a big enough measuring stick for me to pick Prograis or Ramirez to beat him comfortably. The kid passes the eye test with flying colors against mediocre opposition.

Ban bet? If Taylor makes it to the finals, prograise beats him.

Nah. Like I said, it's a toss up fight for me. Why would I ban bet on a fight that could go either way in my opinion. Pretty sure @qwertyblahblah would ban bet you though and Taylor's #1 fangirl @Angler Andrew

I don't think so( on a 50/50 fight,). I favor prograise annd Taylor will get exposed imo.

Yeah, but I think he will be removed due to him fighting for the IBF strap. Although when Darchinyan fought Mares it was for the WBC Silver and IBF belts.

 Taylor was just 12-0 when he fought Postol and had never been past 9 rounds before. Conversely, Crawford was 28-0 and had been past 9 rounds 5 times including going the full 12 twice.

In Taylor's 10th fight he fought a 15-0 Ohara Davies
In his 11th he fought a 39-5 Miguel Vasquez (former world champ)
In his 13th he fought a 29-1 Postol (former world champ)
And in his 14th he fought a 22-0 Ryan Martin

In Crawford's 10th fight he fought a 1-3 Corey Sommerville
In his 11th he fought a 23-45-1 Marty Robbins who was 41 y/o
In his 13th he fought a 15-6 Anthony Mora
And in his 14th he fought a 20-11 Derrick Campos

When Crawford was 22-0 he was losing 4 rounds to the peasant's Josh Taylor ( Ricky ''Rickster'' Burns) Let's have it right... If a 22-0 Crawford is losing 4 rounds Burns, then a 12-0 or 13-0 Crawford is definitely losing at least 3 more and therefore heading back home to Omaha with an L to the Rickster to keep him company.

Jose A Gonzalez was also 22-0 when he fought Burns 10 months before the later fought Crawford and prior to the freak injury was paddling Burns' ass worse than Crawford did.

And Crawford fought Postol like he was in there with a prime Mike Tyson lol. He covered more of that ring than Hughie Fury did against Parker, whereas Taylor took way more risks against him lol

And Taylor wasn't at his best against Postol. He was way too tense and subsequently was loading up on his shots and missing wildly when he was out of range. My criticisms of his performance in the RBR immediately after the fight were echoed almost word for word by both Shane McGuigan and Taylor during some of their post-fight interviews.

Yes you've said that about 6 times since last night & the more you say it the less convinced I am. If you think he's the same level as Postol & it was possibly a draw then you're deluding yourself... I had it 8-4 Taylor. Postol is simply a tricky operator..

How about u cut him some slack & acknowledge that he's only had 14 fights & 3 years at the pro game too?! Fighters improve, learn & progress... Do not assume he hit his plateau defeating Postol! In truth he'd had 12 fights & no world level experience going into that fight..

Yes he's 27 but I don't think we have seen his best nights yet by a long way.... He's a very disciplined & skillful fighter.. He's legit IMO & the way he's triggered you leads me to believe you probably know it too...

I think he beats prograis in style.
