Not surprising because Joyce is slow as molasses and has poor defense, so I could see Fury easily timing him.
Haye recently rubbished that theory and I have to agree with him. You can get the feel of an opponents strength's and weaknesses if enough sparring's conducted, that's why top level pro's wont have certain fighters in for sparring as they don't want to give anything away for future fights
Sam Jones is Joe’s manager so whatever he says on the matter carries no weight. Make no mistake the Gypsy King sparked out Joyce in the spar. Wilder is in a world of trouble and so is that fraud from Watford. Eddie Hearn shat himself when he heard this news.
Too many variables for sparring to mean as much as certain fanbases want it to. That person might be warming down, have had sessions beforehand with multiple other fresh partners, be working on one particular move over and over when you come at them. Greg Page dropped Tyson hard in sparring. Who thinks Page would have beaten 80's champ Tyson?
I'm a Fury lover, but even I wouldn't make statements like that without proper proof. I'd love for it to be true, but it just isn't. Wouldn't be surprised if Showtime and Al 'Moneygrabber' Haymon were behind the ignition of these apparent tweets. Surely he didn't knock out Joyce in sparring. Joyce is an accomplished amateur, I'd expect the sparring to be very competitive. And he's a much bulkier man than Fury is, I can't see how Fury would put him down. Not buying it until I see pictures and that's coming from a guy who is Fury this and Fury that.
Damage control in full effect Joyce is a juggernaut but he's slower than molasses looks like Micheal Myers in the ring. Fury hitting him when Joyce's stiff ass is out of position. Joyce ain't fought World Level Pro, Fury probably Drowning Joyce in Late Round Sparring
I'm not saying it means nothing but people act surprised when fights don't go the way sparring did and I don't know why.
Pffft, i dont believe it, they will of told Joyce they may sneak that nugget of horse **** out onto social media and asked him to either say nothing, keep tight lipped but to give out a sense of "yeah its true". May help sell more tickets maybe or tryin to get into Wilders head. But then again, what if he did, its sparring, it happens. Fury is no big puncher but at this weight you catch anybody sweet with something and they all can punch hard enough.
