Fury spends a lot of time on the outside though.

Canelo, when he wants to, like when he made GGG look silly in their first fight.

Nowhere near as silly as he made Adelaide Byrd.

Canelo gets my vote at the moment.

Lomachenko is a worthy shout but his feet are rarely ever set and certainly never stay set long enough to qualify for this criteria. He is in and out and doing what he pleases at will, but rarely or never stands in front of and makes the opponent miss.

I mean, Fury pulled an Ali and just sat on the ropes dodging all of Pianetas punches for about 30 seconds straight. So at least among HWs, Fury.

When was Floyd ever great in the pocket? That's where he would take punches, look at the Augustus, Cotto, Maidana fights. He was certainly no Toney, Whitaker, or Lomachenko.

Loma, Canelo and Usyk are good mentions. So is Rigo but is he even in the game anymore?

Tony and Whitacker were so much fun to watch in the pocket. To be fair flIVd was brilliant in the pocket against Canelo in their fight.

Canelo. Fought the best puncher in the world twice. Made him miss alot with everything but the jab.

I love him and would love to watch him fight again. Beautiful footwork and defense, grace and jaw breaker power. He's old but not nobody @122 could do what Loma did to him. That is if he still wants it. Other wise that was his cash out fight. Which sadly feels more probable everyday.

Good point not sure why some thought he ran as most of the time he was right there in the pocket

That’s not a bad shout,Canelo defence is levels above the rest imo.
