I don't think Rugby is a combat sport. It's certainly a contact sport but not a combat sport.

I didn't think the fight rules have been announced for this fight?

Either way it's in Rizin so should be in the MMA forum

That's my point, no way in hell will they have any decent MMA rules for this bout. It is beyond pathetic from Mayweather!

I dont get these idiots who gamble in vegas. It's staked against them. If you want to gamble why not just buy stocks hey at least you can win and lose some. Mayweather is going to be broke no question about it. The fool is so stupid its unreal.

That’s prob some wwe style bull , but if Floyd can make tens or even hundreds of millions doing things like that why not? I wish him luck . I just don’t think it will be a legit full contact mma fight as floyd is so in love with his record that he would def be too afraid to lose.

But is there any legit info that floyd is gambling big time? Coz you can gamble responsibly and still be ok if you have hundreds of millions in your bank account and floyd also bragged about smart investments in NYC real estate , so he should be doing really well .

When you have experienced the thrills of what he has earned he will want to in some way replicate that in gambling. Winning a mil won't move the needle...he wants to win huge, so has prob lost huge

This kid is pretty ****ing fast. If he were an actual Welterweight, he could probably **** Floyd up, but he's a goddamned Featherweight.

Perhaps, but a man in financial difficulties may be persuaded to risk it for what would be a ridiculous amount of money. Anyhow, financially I’m sure Mayweather is fine.

It does bring up the subject of the 0 though, which has way too much value is boxing. Or even just a loss for that matter is deemed awful. I was debating this the other day with friends. If the best constantly fought the best it would become a none issue. But that’s another debate for another thread.
