Floyd Mayweather v Tenshin Nasukawa

I think Floyd Mayweathers version of Broke, and our version of Broke are very different.

He probably has millions and millions to play with, but in his mind he is getting worried about bills coming in, and needs another paycheque (cheque, not check )

All relative, but yes i do think in his mind he feels he needs money.

 

I don't favour him against a kickboxer. I just don't rate him as high as you do I guess.

 

I know a lot of fighters swear blind that pancarase was legit but I don't buy it. It's just too theatrical and OTT I am convinced it was atleast semi-scripted

 

He already was, The McGregor fight was massive but we knew that that was just the Floyd Circus rolling in to town. Its only a matter of time before he becomes a Russian national.

 

He's 41, a 5 weight world champ with a better resume than most. His legacy is secured. I've no issue with these type of fights.

 

Can't blame Mayweather if people are stupid enough to throw mad money at him. I'm sure he'll earn a tasty sum for this fight. Why not?

 

It's really bull****. When you look at his last few opponents. Maidana, Maidana(Alexander's leftovers), Old Pacquiao, Berto, and Mcgregor. With the exception of old Pac, he's been fighting mediocre opposition. How can a guy like Hopkins be in his 40s fighting Tarver, Wright, Calzaghe, Pavlik, Dawson, Pascal, Cloud, Kovalev, and Smith Jr, and people be okay with Floyd, who has more than twice the athleticism than an old stiff Hopkins did, fighting scrubs?

 

I think the truth is that boxing is his circus and he is the circus master to be brutally truthful

It is a little bit of a circus. But Floyd's won the game man.
Complain all you want right now. We'll never ever see another fighter do it like him. And thats why people will pay.

 

the odd work happened but it was pretty much legit. Fighters carried guys for sure though to make the show last longer.

 

Rules will be drastically modified or fixed so it's hard to get in the mood for this here

 

This. He owes interest on $20 million in back taxes to the IRS that has been accumulating for years.

Also, it doesn't help that Floyd like many celebrities dosent believe in paying bills, so who knows how many people have him in collections. A friend of mine, who designs and builds cars had a wage garnishment order on Floyd a couple years back, since Floyd stopped making payments once he got the car.

When you spend 20 million a year it’s easy to run out of money.

 

Hopkins is the exception not the standard.. That's like saying Pac can go up 8 weight classes so that fit should be able to as well.. It doesn't work that way...
