Fury is the better defensive boxer from long range, if he fights like he did vs Wlad he should win, his reach is longer than Wilder`s and that`s part of DW`s success.

Wilder has to get past Fury`s longer jab also, Wilder`s meeting a taller fighter for the first time, he can`t rely on his usual stuff, gonna have to show a lot more creativity.

He has to stay off the center line and be ready for the hooks by blocking with his right glove, like he did against Wlad who had a great left hook like Wilder but mostly threw central straight shots just like Wilder does, apart from the odd sneaky hook.

May be a great way to smother Wilder`s long straight right hand also.

Wilder`s legs are really weak though, that`s why he falls off balance when he punches, he`s top heavy.

Fury`s got better head movement than any fighter Wilder has fought thus far.

Wilder has questionable balance, stance and positioning... he has wire'y, explosive strength that allows him to expend huge force in short time.

In grappling situations he would floor opponents easily through sheer acceleration. Ive done this myself against real grapplers bugger than me

Meh, not so sure Wilder has or wants a Plan-B.
See the Hughie Fury - Pulev fight for Wilder's tactics; hang back, swagger about, launch with massive right hand. Rinse and repeat....

Hughie couldn`t have survived against Wlad, Tyson has a much more active guard.

You're probably right but I only mentioned his Bulgarian folly with regards to Wilder's tactics.
As for Tyson Fury, his boxing acumen is far greater than his cousins it seems.
I expect Fury to embarrass Wilder or at least stay out of range a bit like Haye-Klitschko, for large portions of upcoming fight. Ultimately though, I think Wilder's conditioning and sharpness will see him land a bomb or 2, then I think Fury will be done.
Intriguing match-up though, will be rivetting even if the actual boxing is unspectacular.

He's clearly in as good a shape as he's ever been, considering he always carried some fat around the waist. He's never had stamina issues, including his latest ten rounder so why would he suddenly be unable to move for 12 rounds? Anyone banking on Fury gassing can forget it.

It doesn't matter how he wins this fight. He's up against perhaps one of the hardest hitters in heavyweight history. He must do whatever he has to do to avoid the right hand and bring the belt home. I believe he can do it.

The Haye v Wlad fight was nothing like Fury v Wlad, Haye`s offensive threat was non-existent compared to Fury`s in their respective title challenges.

Fury can`t afford to be caught the way he was cauught at times from his awful opponent because Wilder can take him out with one shot.
