    I will start with:

Mark Wills vs Greg Page. Wills won twice by KO. Page has much better accomplisments besides that and surely ranks higher.

Spinks vs Holmes. 2-0 Spinks (I scored it 1-1 but the officials picked Spinks twice). Still Holmes is clearly above Spinks at HW

Maskaev vs Rahman. Maskaev won twice by KO. It's very close, but I give edge to Rahman since he won the lineal title and beat ATG Lennox Lewis.

Gatti vs Robinson. Robinson 2-0. Still Gatti should be ranked higher as he at least won belts in 2 divisions.

Toney - Griffin. Griffin 2-0. I rank Toney much higher based on their accomplishments.

B-Hop - Jermain Taylor. Taylor 2-0. Hopkins an ATG with higher ranking.

Pryor - Arguello. Pryor rates higher Jr. Welter, obviously, but looking at P4P and overall career accomplishments I have to go with Arguello.

    Barkley - Hearns.

Duran certainly ranks higher than Pazienza and Camacho, despite losing to both twice.

Mosley with Forrest and Wright. Probably De La Hoya with Mosley. Forrest with Mayorga.

Ruben Olivares went 0-2 vs. Rafael Herrera. One to end his Bantamweight reign and then a non-title fight the same year. Olivares obviously is much better though Herrera is underrated.

Eder Jofre > Fighting Harada despite the 0-2 in Harada’s favor.

I rate Dempsey higher than Tunney at HW (but not p4p)

I would say the same about Holmes and Spinks.

Good thread....a bad matchup for a fighter does not negate his body of work

I hate to point this out but good trainers and managers would know what fighters to avoid style wise

I don't agree with it, but many rank Ezzard Charles above Rocky Marciano p4p

Dempsey and Tunney at heavyweight, and Harada and Jofre p4p are both common ones

Even though it was 1-2, Jones should be ranked much higher than Tarver.

    Chavez above DLH p4p.

    Barrera above Junior Jones...

Eubank over Collins at SMW as well as Benn over Collins

You don’t think Charles was better pound for pound?

    That's highly debatable, I'd say.

Young Corbett KO'd Terry McGovern twice, with one no decision bout (newspaper draw), but McGovern was clearly greater overall.

I think it's mainly a case where you evaluate the fighter's record and overall career, when determining where they stand in history, and in Mark Wills case for example, if he fought a prime Greg Page, like the one that ko'd Scott Ledoux back in 81, it would have been a very different outcome.
