I assure you that if Leonard were to say the opposite, you would be the first to call Sugar DKSAB!! So predictable.
"The fight was so close, and if GGG had got the decision, I would have accepted that.” https://www.ringtv.com/543885-sugar-ray-leonard-i-had-canelo-as-the-winner/ No problem with Ray's opinion. I had GGG winning, but Canelo fought better than he did the first time around.
Well he is the worst announcer maybe ever. It's just one opinion. But it is just one of many more than Golovkin fans ever want to admit to. They can't handle that there are plenty of boxers and trainers who scored either of their fights to Canelo, especially for the second. The ratio isn't nearly what it is on this forum (casuals).
Lol Yeah.. I’m sure he did. And most had Hearns beating him thoroughly in their rematch and Hagler beating him also. The vast majority feel GGG won both so eat **** Ray.
He also added it was very close & subjective. Most people are over this **** now anyway. I accept the result but I don't agree with it.
Hey Shadow...scrapi sc the barrel aren't you? Your obsession with GGG is tiresome, as far as SRL & his opinions he also says he beat the Marvelous One...we know that's another Caneloe-GGG thing...rubbish to any honest minded agenda free fan... On the surface you appear intelligent & lucid but your garbled rhetoric puts me in mind of a Trump type rally speech.
I thought ggg dominated most of the fight using his jab. I think I was most impressed with Canelo's toughness and he definitely hit GGG hard a good few times.
He would've likely beaten Floyd. As for beating Tyson, I'm sure thats just bluff and showmanship, no way he really thought that. Any: take it with a grain of salt, Leonard has picked wrong and had questionable opinions lots of times on boxing outcomes. As someone who doesn't like Golovkin (and hates his fans) it's very telling that I thought he beat Canelo twice. Close fight but I definitely thought he won off the strength of a superior jab, and he even surprised me fighting on the backfoot in stretches in the second fight. Oh well.........
He hit GGG hard more than a few times. He discouraged GGG from fighting in his usual style. He backed GGG up and forced him to fight off the backfoot for the majority of the fight something we've never seen GGG do before.
