Fury and Wilder are pretty much same height, he won't really punch up

Yeah same reason Tyson fury has such wicked ko power too, he's punching down from an even greater height

Whatever dummy...a punch is determined by the start of the motion which is called momentum which creates velocity...you cannot get more momentum going upward you can get more going down ,its why Pitchers for example throw overhand not under hand.....

You took physics doe ?

It still takes away Wilder A plus punch which goes in downward trajectory.

All engineering majors have to take a year of physics as well as classes in statics and dynamics.

Tyson fury isn't a power puncher. Do all humans run the same speed too if they weigh the same? Did everyone take stupid pills today? lol

I never considered the mechanics of gravity i just presumed he was knocking his shorter opposition out because of all the illegal power shots to the back of the head that have gone unpunished throughout his career.

From you, I don't mind the insults. Just keep posting your theories on boxing.

i agree, the effects of gravity are about as significant to punching power, in this example, as how tight your jock is and how much it restricts the flow of blood and oxygen to your limbs.
although, over an extended period of time, it can effect the stamina in shoulders as youre punching at a slightly tighter angle that requires more contraction from your deltoid.

They aren't theories you idiot, anyone who actually been in a boxing gym or trained all their life would know how to throw harder punches and at what angles and height would increase them....so heres both boxing talk and insults for you... :imwithstupid:

    MIND BLOWN!!!

One has to ask the obvious: why haven't boxers develop the jump up and punch down technique to significantly increase their power? Imagine Margacheato using rubber shoes with springs in it to add extra power from above besides the plaster!!! Why haven't anyone told Paul Williams if he uses his tall legs AND jumps up he can do superhero stuff upon punching down? I mean just by calculating 9,78 m/s2 into the equation, and putting the Higgs boson on the side for the moment, GGG could've literally knocked Canelo DOWN if he wasn't bending his knees toward the center of the Earth and walked UP-RIGHT. You know, cause he would'be had the HIGHER GROUND! Gravity won so many battles on the battlefield, boxers should know better. GGG should also have brought gravity rage with him from HIGH UP in Big Bear California. I suspect Canelo won because Oscar literally tilted odds so the red corner was physically HIGHER and Canelo literally brought GRAVITY down with him at the beginning of every round!
