I've said some positive things about Eddie recently but he's really let himself down in his latest IFL interview, mentioning a Price/Takam matchup. Throwing Price in with Povetkin was sickening. We all know Price was there to be KO'd by Povetkin, helping build the AJ fight. Anyone who knows anything about boxing knew how that fight would end. Now he looks as though he'll use Price's blatantly obvious frailties again to boost a PPV card, with a Takam matchup. Boxing is a brutal sport and men die in the ring every so often. Much more than that, many boxers are left with life long difficulties physically and mentally. They're all warriors and need to be protected from themselves. At what point will Price's health be considered?
So is it a done deal, are they fighting? I like Price but he must have a death wish if he fights Takam...yeah i know Takam isn't the greatest but he still got plenty more in the tank, he will hurt Price. Price bottled it last time and blamed an injury... i was so disappointed. Lets hope he gives it his all this time. If Price did pull it out the bag where does he go from there? Do you think in his mind he wants Joshua/Wilder/Fury??
