Who actually even thinks Wilder would have a chance against USYK ?

Usyk needs to fight a decent, legitimate heavyweight, not necessarily an elite one either, and demonstrate he can keep them from just walking him down to prove to me he's going to take out an elite heavyweight like Wilder. I can accept the hatred of Wilder because I understand that's what haters do but at this moment he's at least in the top five or higher. Joshua, Fury and Wilder are all great in their own unique ways.

I think Usyk is a rare talent.... at cruiserweight. Heavyweight? I've seen enough in his cruiser weight fights to understand that he's got a lot to prove in the heavyweights.

My point is that he was medically cleared to fight.

He's the same age as Povetkin and I think the same age Wlad was when Fury fought him. So if you're using the age thing then you need to discredit those two wins as well.

Nothing about Ortiz looked shot. He looked the same as he's always done and then he looked just fine blasting out the guy that took Parker the distance.

You are right, Wilder would be a narrow favourite with the bookmakers if they fought right now. I for one slightly favour Usyk (in 50-50 fights I edge for skill over power, although whether that still holds in the HW division with Wilder's power is another question) but who knows.

 

Yes. Ortiz is actually older than stated but it doesn't change the fact that he is still a beast, and that's what really matters.
