True - Allen's punch variety is quite nice - mixing up the body shots and uppercuts - I would expect a boxer of his level to just wing in big overhands. But he is too passive - walking forward without throwing, and trusting that opponent will gas before his own chin cracks. This fight turned around when AEB's work rate dropped to that of Allen's, and Allen's better shot quality became the deciding factor.

Allen stuttering. Not a good sign, but it could be just temporary since he just fought. Hopefully not permanent.

 

I can see Eddie throwing him to the wolves after this to get him off the books.

Daft thing is, Warren would sign him up straight away, such is his desperation.

**** that's not good. Allen should just work for Sky at this point. Dude clearly has charisma and is a likeable guy. As a fan I want to see more of his fights though, not against top HW's though.

No homo but I’m completely blown away by how handsome Josh Kelly was in that interview during the Allen fight. It totally knocked me for six.

 

I thought it was more of him catching his breath in between words and he also mentioned having his eardrums affected and not being able to hear very well so I could see him speaking awkwardly if he can't hear himself
