Why can't people get over this stupid 10 year old video. He had been boxing for how long when this happened. If they fought today Romanov would lose his head.
Wilder's body type and the way he is built to me is a bad build for absorbing punches. If he gets hit clean by any hard puncher I think he is knocked out. He has lights out power but also a chin which can fail.
It's because he hasn't proven much as a pro and has left room for doubters to criticise him. Remember Joshua critics used to post that Whyte knock down vid and his loss to Nistor all the time here too, but then Joshua beat Whyte, Wlad, Povetkin and Parker and so it's become much harder to pick holes in his resume or make fun of his chin as he got up from a huge shot from Wlad and took hard shots off Povetkin. Wilder in comparison, has 1 good win over Ortiz and that's it and even then Ortiz's resume is thin and he's got high blood pressure. If Wilder convincingly beats Fury then some will take him more seriously as he would of beaten someone who's proven to be able to compete at the top level unlike Ortiz. He needs to keep making good fights to silence the doubters.
Joshuas career has been way more manufactured and way beeter managed than Wilder's startimg with his questionable gold medal olympics run. Wilder has worked everybody he has fought and so has Joshua. Good, but dont **** on wilder and his resu.e, thats not on him, joshua has had way better and more backing even when he was an amateur.
Dumbest post of the day. Olympic Bronze Medalist. 40-0. 39 knockouts as a pro. (How many heavyweights in history have done that?) WBC Heavyweight Champion. Making his eighth title defense against the younger, lineal World champ. Yeah, hasn't proven much. Don't be an idiot. Seriously.
Just a heads up. You'd be better of reasoning with a brick wall than arguing with Dubblechin. I'd advise not to waste your time typing out an in-depth reply as he will just ignore any points made and repeat himself.
Manufactured? By what ****ing backing? What money was backing his first 30 fights? Joshua had more backing in the Olympics than Wilder did in his first 30 fights so **** off with that trash.
Not really, pretty standard stuff actually doing it the long game way,if any part was manufactured it would have to be Stiverne being made mandatory by the WBC.
True. Whyte said that about Wilder going into the Ortiz fight as well. But he also said Tyson, Hagler to name a few were dropped. http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/...te-deontay-wilder-was-kod-sparring-take-punch
