It might suprise you but i actually almost agree, its the direction/trajectory his resume/career is taking that is the most impressive, definatly not a p4p peformance.
His oppenent was levels below for me, i cba to find a quote but bellew basically said he was looking forward to not fighting and no more camps, that would be disadvantage in elite table tennis nevermind boxing. I agree wilder and aj would beat him allday long. I think building himself up to fighting them is going to be hard enough i mean who does he fight in his first 3 heavyweight fights? I think whyte and baby miller are guna be stylistic nightmare for him, parker too if he brings it.
So who is left with the level of relevance and ability, that he can face? Genuinley i dont kno. He can only really have one gimme fight, then who???

 

So is Ant Crolla now in line to face the winner of Loma vs Pedraza?

Tony Bellew fought the fight of his life but in truth he was never going to win that fight, he just isn't good enough! Barring an ATG robbery he was slowly & methodically taken apart .. I'm glad in a way that he was stopped cos those cards were shameful. Usyk felt his way into the contest & was too good in the end. It is what it is. Have a good retirement tony u fought well. But Usyk is feel, very feel.

 

ruiz or arreola on next 5 de mayo card. quickest way to a worldwide audience for you to tell your story and display your skill. both winnable and both promise to make it a fight, which makes him memorable. i dont think the champs will take him as a real threat and would be looking for reasons to fight him, all he needs is to become known and he will get the shots.

 

In no way was Tony dominant but he was doing the better work in most of the rounds. He was on his A game for sure. usyk did his thing but I disagree that he was up.

 

I get the feeling hearn wants to build him into a uk star, did you get that feeling? Respect.

 

Actually the more i think about that the more it makes sence, with canelo now on dazn, maybee double up with him and canelo on same cards for awhile, that would work. Clever i like it. Also keeps distance from joshua. Very clever. Respect.

Joshua doesnt have Bellews skills to take rounds off of Usyk, thats the difference. Joshua would obliterate Bellew because of his size, thats it.

 

Everyone exposes Usyk nowadays, Breidis supposedly got robbed, Hunter won 6 rounds, etc etc.

 

I never said Bellew would last with Joshua, its that Joshua doesnt have Bellews skills to take off rounds from Usyk.

this was the first fight i have ever seen usyk in, so i havent followed his career. ive been fully aware of the hype surrounding him, ive just resisted the urge to watch him until i caught him live. i dont think he has the power, because of his size, to overcome the top 2. tony caught him with some solid shots to the jaw and a couple of picture perfect shots to the liver, and usyk shook em off no problem, so i think he is durable enough to at least hang with the rest, cause he does have skills, just not all the skills.
