Can't think of any other boxer who is that mentally strong :deal: His ringwalk showed this, and even when Bellew made it interesting in the early rounds, he was always relaxed, like he always knew what was going to happen.

Usyk has a playful humility to him and he seems like a genuine good guy which is contrary to what you expect from a boxer.

Yep the British fans have really warmed to him even though he only speaks minimal english, imagine how big a star he'll become if he learns to speak english properly!

Well, he's a very religious guy and he also does those crazy holding breath underwater exercises (it's about 3 minutes for Usyk) where (in Usyk's own words) after two minutes you're sure you're gonna pass out now and yet still you are not allowed to give up.

Well, maybe my wording wasn't perfect. "Not allowed" not in a sense that someone is physically holding you, but just if you raise your head from the water too early you fail the exercise.

three minutes? isn't the world record around five? doubt 99% of people can do more than a minute, minute and a half tops.

I can barely hold my breath for a minute. My lung capacity is only mildly better than David Price's

Loma can stay under water for close to 5:00. There is a video with it somewhere.

You’d be surprised for an athlete with practise it’s not that hard.
Freedivers can do over ten minutes.
