Adam smith should not be allowed to commentate on sky

Mate wtf was that about when he mentioned the tattoo and the bombing.

Very strange comment made by a very strange man!

 

World has gone soft... the thing that makes me laugh is... it’s okay for two men to beat the sh** out of each other on live TV, but when someone swears, they have to apologise for “foul language”

 

I had a few drinks last night, but I remember being pleasantly surprised at Adam Smith correcting Froch a few times, and actually being right !!! Still a weirdo though

 

Even as a fellow Brit I was cringing so bad at how biased the sky commentators were last night
Think at the end of the fourth paulie said something along the lines of
“We need to be careful of thinking everything Tony is doing is great .. because it’s not”

The scorecards baffled me I gave bellew 2 rounds but the whole team has bellew up a couple going into the 8th

Think the crowd definitely influences judges as well cos only 1 judge actually has usyk even at best

 

I thought for a second, did he really say what I thought he said ? Then it hit me that it is Adam Smith. Nothing good comes from his mouth. Makes Michael Cole look capable.

But last night did take it to the extreme. :/

 

There is nearly always a bit of bias towards the home fighter from commentators all over the world but ive gotta turn Sky Sports commentary off, its by far the worst, i was hoping one Jim Watt went it would sort of sorted itself out a bit but its every bit as bad now as its ever been.

Sometimes i do listen to it and can laugh it off, sometimes when im really desperate for the home fighter to win and hes clearly not yet the commentary is trying to tell me hes putting in some master class it actually angers me. I didnt have the sound on last night but i could imagine the **** that they were talking, especially in those early rounds.

Their commentating has always been horrible.

 

Apparently Prince Naz made him cry once at a press conference. Smith is a weird one tbh, you don’t expect his type to be involved in boxing. You’d think he was a commentator for crufts, golf or cricket. Not boxing.

 

hes a bot thats what he was programmed for, there all as good as gold, straight up good honest warriors, the sky lot.

 

As a Brit I apologize for the stupidity of some of the commentary last night. It was ridiculous.. The scorecards are an atrocity too! I know a lot of them are his friend's like Froch etc but come on at least try to be objective... Haye was the worst! In damage control because of his two embarrassing whoopings from Tony, the better Bellew did the better he would look losing to someone who could outbox Usyk... Which never happened! Massive twat...

 

I have kind of learned to tune it out most of the time, but occasionally you here something so biased you think WTF are you going on about.

I think British commentary in a lot of sports tends to be quite biased I don't think it's limited to boxing. Though usually in other sports they at least try and be fair until something happens and they lose their chit lol.

The commentary over the last Olympics was especially bad, with so many former sports people now commentating they just can't control themselves and get lost in the moment lol.

 

He reminds me of Waylon Smithers.
