I have 2 boys 11 and 13 who are absolutely nuts about boxing we have watch pretty much all the ppv this year together and they kept banging on about going . So I have bought tickets for Chisora vs Whyte only thing is that I am now wondering if they are old enough for an event like this . I have never been myself so am not sure what to expect crowd wise . They have been to premier league games a number of times so are used to crowds etc . What do you all think ?

Depends where you sit and who you end up next to.

You'll find hardly anybody goes to watch the boxing and just peacocks around until the main event.

Matchroom shows are usually more child friendly than a Warren show for example.

    Enjoy it

Not too much happens at a Matchroom show row wise inside the arena and as mentioned it will be pretty desolate til the main even mate , there's always potential for a few people to kick off, but it's much for likely to happen at a warren do, enjoy the night Id say you will be fine

You will be fine mate. A lot of people who go to these shows end up getting drunk and rowdy, idiotic chants and a few have-a-go brawlers but they are decent and aware enough to not engage in any nonsense near children. I’ve been debating taking my bird to a fight for a while and tbh I’d sooner take a couple of young lads to a fight than any female.

Be aware there is plenty of white powder up noses in the toilets, the odd fight in the crowd and you may end up unlucky sitting near people absolutely hammered.

That is the reality but no different to what they will face going out on the lash at weekends in a few years.

You should be fine as the O2 is very well stewarded and as others have said Matchroom shows are usually trouble free.

I took my 2 nephews to Quigg v Martinez fight in Manchester when they were 9 and 11. They loved it, they now both box as amateurs and are doing really well. 02 is great arena, have a great time

.....and no different from the "reality" they're children (his grandkids) will face in a few decades etc etc... UNLEsSS people get their finger out and do something to improve things. ....incredibly sad and stupid that people in a supposedly advanced civilized western democracy either cannot or will not aspire to anything better than an "inevitably " gutter level society. ...not picking on you or the OP Josh, jurgen by the way in case that's what you might think.... ..just saying.. . Rant over.. .

Will be fine. Crowd can get frosty is there is a foreign fighter or one of them isn't local, but with these two - likely to put on another good fight - I think it'll be fine. The crowd will be lively but I wouldn't anticipate anything untoward.

I really like the 02 arena - good views in most seats, and atmosphere travels well.

You might get unlucky and sit near drunken idiots but other than that should be fine.

We moved seats at Whyte vs Browne because of annoying chavs only for more to appear but no fights!

Some afterwards outside but nothing major.

You will be fine mate and they will love it, don't let anything put you off just go for it and take it all in...

Just make sure you know where you are going, it is a Dillian White fight after all and if you follow the wrong crowd you will almost likely end up in Tesco!!!!
